Was good to have some good Poly delivery dudes again, I've had to deal with shit Chinese, Slav and Arab dudes lately. I had to call my Arab mate to speak to my movers because their English was almost non existent.

(Hmm, that sounds a little bit racist, not meant to be, I have friends from all those groups who are awesome, but when they're in delivery jobs they seem to be shit).

The Pacific Championship might be going a week too long. Who else sort of feels like it should be wrapped up this weekend? Maybe as a 'Tier One' nation we actually receive a tangible benefit whereby a future tournament only goes two weeks, with us playing the winner of Samoa v Tonga?

Oh, but I've forgotten about the Kangaroos, it can't be a two-week tournament with them there too. Look, the point is, this time of year isn't right for league. It's been another long season. I want out.

Lol. On another note we had serious technical glitches on the forum this year, about June. To make it usable for me I switched to the Duck Duck Go browser, which cut out those crippling ads. However, I lost the ability to 'like' posts. Next season I need that function back, as it has an important place.

Feel slightly shitty saying this but my enthusiasm for following our cricketers has waned significantly over the last 5-6 years. Rot started when NZC sold rights to Spark Sports and never recovered. Now I barely follow them at all.

Once Pac Champs and the ABs EOYT is done, I have the Ashes to get in behind and that'll be it... so I'm clinging on to whatever footy is left lol

Duck Duck Go will have an ad.block on it so that's why you lose the ability to like posts as the owners/mods restrict those options if you do. I made the decision to lose the ability to like posts because if I don't have an ad.block on this site overloads and freezes my computer (I have an up to date Mac).

I'm not ready either, I was annoyed there was no NZ game on the weekend.

I don't follow cricket, haven't since my uni days I guess (will watch if at mates etc), so the finish of the AB tour and I'll be on break until February.
