2nd best

It's good to have a competitive Inl game though it is true.

A full strength black and white taua beats anyone right now. Do you think Lindsay Collins, Ruben Cotter etc can deal with our middle forwards?

Don't forget 30 - 0 my friend, and the players who debuted last year are now on another level as well.

Enjoy your moment but Samoa getting a few game ending injuries and 25 HIAs ruined the final.
NZ were probably going to finish over the top anyway but only by 4-8 points.
Critter and Tino will be such massive ins for them.
That deadshit Taylan May too

It's all talk until they manage to do it next year mate, if they show up. As it stands they are #2 and will stay there in the Kangaroos shadow so enjoy the shade

How is it talk when it was done 2 short years ago?

If we get somewhere near out best team on the field, I'm confident we win again.

You managed it once when Australia was arguably at its weakest for a good long time. History shows that even the best of teams fall short occasionally

You can't claim #1 status unless you beat the #1 team in your last meeting....which you didn't. NZ hasn't won a tournament involving Australia in over a decade. Cool your jets

I'm pretty sure that was a tournament final we beat you in 2 years ago, but ok Axe bro.

And what do you mean by the weakest you've been for a good long time? This was your team for the final:

Tedesco
Edwards
Staggs
Hammer
Holmes
Munster
DCE
Haas
Hunt
Tino
Cotter
Martin
Yeo

Carrigan
Hunt
Grant
Hynes

Is that not your first choice team at the time bar Cleary? And you had 2nd choice 7 DCE who won origin that year anyway.

Your points don't stack up, but it's OK bro. You probably still think both NSW and Qld would beat the Kiwis. You keep that arrogance.

Haha you call me arrogant. See my post above regarding the Aust pack mate

You crow on about being the world's best team after beating Temu NZ (your metric btw). Please

To ever consider that both NSW and Qld can beat the Kiwis is arrogant.

I'm not the only one who's said we are the best team in the world right now. There are multiple Australians who are also saying it.

Should've played us in a 3 test series instead of the weakest England/GB team we've seen since 1986.

When did I say that?

Jeezus you're fabricating your own narrative now just to have something to rail against. Take a breath bro

A few months ago. I said in a thread about NZ joining origin that we would beat both teams, you're the only one who wanted to debate me on it. Then said we didn't fire a shot in the pac champs last year. I said we had a lot of guys out, and we'd be back. Here we are. Only reason I quoted you bro.

I respect your opinion, I just don't agree with it Axe man.

I think a broader mid-year international calendar that includes NSW, QLD, NZ, Samoa and Tonga (plus at least one maybe three others) should be considered. SOO is tired and contrived; I would love to see equal appearance money across all the different participants to allow the players who wish to play for NZ or the Pacific islands be able to do that without financial penalty.

If there were 3-4 games a week (plus you could maybe have the Woman play their rep games at the same time) you could properly pause the NRL (or at least have weeks off). It wouldn’t extend the season much and allow for limited off-season trips; have a WC every four years and then perhaps an Ashes every four years also, giving players every other off-season off…

Ummmm no mate, that wasn't me who argued with you about Qld/NSW beating NZ, that was RBM and I'm thoroughly insulted that you're mixing me up with that 2 headed Qlder sister f**ker

Maybe I was arguing with him too then lol. But I do remember you saying, I'm not a Qlder but qld would beat NZ.
