I just went back and watched a clip of it again... shit even the trainer was having a crack at him as he lay there afterwards. Poor bugger.

That's interesting, wonder how/why that differs to the NRL Club Analyser breakdown. That has the Warriors travelling 60,729 km over the season compared to the Cows 50,582km.

All else being equal, I'd have thought more kms = more air hrs? unless I'm missing something painfully obvious..

Without knowing anything about travel out of Townsville, potentially they have a few trips where they don’t have a direct flight and have to hit Brisbane first ?

us and canberra. But its the same for us going the other way.
which begs the question. why is canberra so low on the list when they would need connecting flights to auckland and townsville.

Ah well, as least when the Bears arrive we wont win this one anymore.
Yea man... I think our boys might (?) still spend more time away in total with the additional hassle of international travel, but at least its fewer hours cooped up in the plane.

Warriors v Bears game is going to be a helluva roadie for someone each year.

I've only been to Perth once for a long weekend, found it the most NZ like city in Oz, so this gives me a good excuse to head over for another trip.

Yea got a nephew that moved there in the last few months. Apart from the obvious distance, he and his family love it. Reckons WA gets the weather that QLDers think they get. Dunno if true but sounded good.

Tassie is very NZ-like, if we're looking at regions.

Melbourne would be the least, definitely a culture shock living here
Yeah, Tassie a little bit, especially with the cold (I stayed in Tasmania Queenstown - as cold as NZ one but sleepy as fudge), and Hobart has a very Wellington feel to it, but Perth felt more Kiwi to me. Might be the fish and chips. 🤣

What do you find the most different since you've moved there? I find Sydney punches me in the face more than Melb whenever I visit.

Enjoy Brissy's more laid back vibe though, just a shame about their wanky football team.

Never been to Perth... want to, but haven't yet found a compelling enough reason to warrant the 8hr flight. Maybe the first Bears v Warriors game will do it though, like @Matua is thinking, with an east coast stop somewhere on the way.
