And another real positive for the NRL, it now essentially gives the NRL 2 years of continued growth without this threat - in 2 years time there’ll be a new broadcast deal, salary cap will be higher, and really importantly, it gives PVL 2 years to steal and improve their concept (global round) and actually deliver it.
The NRL will be even stronger in 2 years, which will make it even harder for R360 to make any sort of dent.

yes hopefully this is how it works out in the meantime .. they get some clear air now to finalise the broadcast deal …. There is even more now riding on that as Im sure we haven’t heard the last of this or another rebel rugby competition looking to poach NRL players ..

On the flip side … this episode underlines that risks are involved joining start up comps and that old saying that a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush..

The great thing is that this failure will make it twice as hard to replicate . If indeed it has failed.

They have been made to look the absolute clickbaits ##### that they are. Anybody researching this could see there were no venues, no fixtures, no teams, no social media, no reporting in Europe, no RU names linked yet they went on and on and on. Just look back at some of the stories and podcasts, shameful from these so-called professionals.

So can we have an investigation on Payne Haas and his $3m contract he was ready to sign?? A made up story and a made up figure. Who would have thought PVL cornflake box comments would turn out to be the most sensible lol?
There was a Royal involved... say no more.

Laughing at all the putzes in this thread who treated the R360 offers with great sanctity and criticised our game’s leadership.
One of the few things that Gould ever said that was true: "the paranoid survive".

R360 concept is dead. They have no backing

Wonder if the NRL can put pressure on them to go West if they want to return.
Perth should be on the phone to Parramatta to cut a deal right now. Offer Paps and NAS overs straight off the bat. Get it done!
There's a very small window to a massive opportunity for Perth if they can be smart enough to know that the only cards they have is " we can offer a big deal right now!"

Yes .. harder but not impossible… the proposed format probably needs to change I would imagine … sounded pretty dumb to me
Well, the massive offers, working in the shadows.. will be out the window for 20 years. People will laugh at you.
The only way you could do this now is with full transparency, business plan, exact comp structure ect..
