Such a weak gutless team. I love winning but I wish it was close. Ashes like this one quickly become forgettable.

How on earth does Duckett get picked over Hameed? Just absolutely mad that as attacking as they want to be they don't realise they need SOME balance. A bloke with a technique that makes it hard to get him out is needed as the rock that the attackers build around.

KP worked because he had players like Cook in that top order. Brook can be the KP but they need someone to be the Cook.

Then they think they can win an Ashes without a spinner. How on earth did they think the batting ability of a number 8 is more important than having a decent spin option?

Their keeper doesn't even keep for their county team.

England in test cricket recently is just this stupid new age mentality of wanting to do fancy innovative things without getting the basics right first.

Anybody with half a brain sitting at home could have predicted the obvious failings in their preparation. But the blokes getting paid millions to play and to manage this team don't see it?

Brook came here with a test batting average of 57 and 10 test 100s

And delivered squat

His now played 8 Ashes tests and yet to score a ton as well.
