I've been attacked by red bears and beer and pies and all sorts of obscure characters! Holding the line by myself..lol

Ngl I’ve enjoyed reading all their arguments against you which I step back and think yeh maybe this will go ok

Then somebody posts an updated bears team list and I shake my head and think this is going to be the worst roster in the nrl (even if they get Tino and Burton)

Mal can’t coach for crap and anybody thinking signing a panthers assistant is a sure fire recipe for success didn’t know about Trent Barrett

Clubs finances are strong they can wear a few bad years on the field

You’re dealing with people who haven’t had a team for 30 years you expect a rational debate ? Lol (red bear is obviously a huge bears tragic he’s going to talk the up)

Then again when I talk about my club I’m brutal and say they are crap

It’s no wonder roosters storm and panthers dominate all the time they are just so well run

Dolphins were set up right from the start they will be a powerhouse

And I feel bad always raining on their parade let them find out in 18 months lol

Pvl should’ve appointed Brad Arthur and I suspect you’d have gotten more established players

I think you said also it was to attract indigenous players in wa which might not go to afl given their issues with aboriginal players and picking players from private schools (even though mal isn’t aborigina)

The stats don’t back up that he is a dud coach. They just don’t. You have no actual numbers to back your statement up and while your eye test might say mal is. The numbers don’t. His first 5 years were better than brads first 5 years. His first 3 years better than ciraldos first 3 years. Can only go off the numbers that a true.

With Ben Gardiner you bring up Barrett comparison as far as panthers coaches well what about Webster and ciraldo? What’s your view on them because Ben Gardiner is more likened to those 2 than he is to Barrett. Why brush 2 aside. Seems odd. Wouldn’t they be 2 good and 1 bad? And if purely assistant you forget Barrett as an assistant make 2 gfs in 2020 and 2025? Maybe he isn’t cut for hc position though.

End of the day everyone can have their opinions of Perth bears this and Perth bears that. But only one poster on this forum has a track record with what’s up with that club.
Gobthroat started it all when he mouthed of about signing time lines and suddenly after yakstorm who worked for nrl, me who’s cousin played nrl for sharkies and bear who knows what’s up with bears told him about securing signatures to announcement time frames gobthroat kept arguing because he didn’t understand how it works.

the two step process, the third parties inclusion and Christmas shutdown. It became evidently clear that bear was right when he said bears had 11 signed up but 4 hadn’t been announced. Soon as people came back from Xmas break we got 4 announcements in like a week. Meaning these signings were finalised on bears end early to mid December for it to be possible to announce early January. Only way it could’ve happened so quickly.

ever since then gobthroat has been back peddling and trying to one up posters because he looked like the clueless moron that he is. If he had just stfu and listened to people who have lived through the process he would’ve been sweet. But now he is rightfully getting called out for all the clueless rubbish he posts lol.

each post he does further exposes his idiocy now and evident he will push his views even when facts stats numbers don’t back his views up. It’s pretty funny.

He @Gobsmacked spends all his time on this bears sub forum only hating on them lol it’s exactly what alwaysgreen used to do. Spend his time talking about things he didn’t like. It’s loser ish mentality

atleAst I’m interested in bears and am positive on them. hence I take time to post articles and reports as a documenting of them here of sorts.

I enjoyed your post on the weekend analysing it same with red bears comment very insightful

I don’t think the results in the early years matters too much anymore as long as they aren’t getting thumped

But even the crap teams like the tigers or knights have rosters which crap all over this one

Dolphins put together a stacked roster. Partly cause it’s Brisbane not Perth and also cause Bennett not Mal

You just got lucky! There's this amazing coach that's been saving himself for Perth! And not coaching NRL for 20 years only made him a better coach! He'll conceed no 6 agains because to him they don't exist..
