Yes I can and it's not picking and choosing at all. It's a home game at our regular home venue

I don't count Vegas or Magic round, that would be picking and choosing.

All I am interested in is the average attendance at the SFS, others can count what they want.
Bra, what do you mean “Yes I can”? I literally didn’t say you couldn’t do anything. Do what you want to.

It still feels a bit like picking and choosing to me when you’re including an event the whole city gets around in the calculation (lots of neutrals go this game due to the importance of the national holiday), regardless of where it is played if someone is after a true home crowd average reflection. Just my reaction to it is all.

Yeah...naah.
A standalone game you're hosting on your home ground? That's an inclusion every time.
It has special status, and that gives it a big boost. So be it. There are other games that have unusual factors in their crowd levels. Game at Accor during the Easter Show, for example.

are bros hard at reading or something?

There is literally no right or wrong here. It’s all opinion based.

what’s the Easter show got to do with anything? We aren’t comparing clubs and or events against each other in this conversation.

you don’t like the take? No worries. Move along happily.

Why are you continuing with this? All clubs would have metrics for games where their supporters are which is usually the games at their home ground, while they have other games to grow that support that those metrics aren't as important as getting new supporters to. So the Roosters like to engage the Central Coast, plenty of other teams take a game to the bush to do similar.

Dogs did a lot of work to build that Easter Show game. Originally it was at 7:30pm on the same day, always versus the Broncos with free entry to general admission if you had an Easter Show ticket, used to get around 30k. Then they brought it forward with Souths when they moved to Stadium Australia and that really got a way more family friendly event to occur and the crowds with it.

Are you misremembering this?

It used to be roosters/broncos every Good Friday at the SFS from 2000 until 2010 and it only stopped in 2011 when ANZAC Day was Easter Monday thus we couldn't do both. In 2011 Dogs played Souths as well.

It's a standalone game at our home ground and long gone are the days when roosters fans were the minority. The last few years we have been the clear majority.

Regardless, it counts for Saints this year as it should, both clubs have done a wonderful job building it up and they deserve the rewards that come with that.

If I was nitpicking I would count magic round because that would artificially increase our average but that wouldn't give an accurate picture of how many people we can draw to our home ground. Gosford we get quite good crowds generally and including it would only be a small hit on our average, but again, I'm only interested in SFS attendance.

Sorry I meant Easter Friday. Not good friday. I can't remember us ever playing Good Friday. We are trying to get the NSW Labor Day Monday to be a thing vs the Dragons as well.

Yeh dogs / dragons is an excellent game to push to make another event game

Get the feeling a lot of red v fans are seeing the boom in dogs crowds with envy and want to support them more

Yes I'm sure it's V'landys that holds all the cards here, and not the multi-billion dollar NFL organisation
