Mate you're the one arguing with all and sundry why the first game should be in Sydney. That probably should tell you what the feeling is regarding it. Yet for some reason you still think you can't be wrong.

So yeah your projection argument calling others fools who disagree with you says it all.
I blocked him weeks ago and not wading through his drivel makes the forum a much better place.

Mate, I was looking at that through the lens of employment law. Very different to how people were using feelings on what is right, the law doesn't always work with feelings like that.

As for the map, who the f**k cares mate. Might take up the ignore option as suggested.

It's a standalone game at our home ground and long gone are the days when roosters fans were the minority. The last few years we have been the clear majority.

Regardless, it counts for Saints this year as it should, both clubs have done a wonderful job building it up and they deserve the rewards that come with that.

If I was nitpicking I would count magic round because that would artificially increase our average but that wouldn't give an accurate picture of how many people we can draw to our home ground. Gosford we get quite good crowds generally and including it would only be a small hit on our average, but again, I'm only interested in SFS attendance.
Bro, you’re repeating yourself. I understand your stance. I have an opinion on that stance. No need to be offended so much to feel the need to continually reply with the same point. I’m not interested in discussing it further.

Ahhh
nope
he said nothing of the sort & it was never a condition of the ARLC , the WA govt saw the sense in the partnership.

Yes he did. Vlandys insisted on it. The WA government has very little to do with the initial bud and would not have mentioned anything either way

The original WA consortium however saw this s as a coupled branding clause, and briefly ditched the Bears to examine a link up with Newtown

This died pretty quickly as the forced link with the Bears was pretty deep in NRL circles
With North Sydney providing their colours & logo , & developing their juniors , its not unreasonable to request One opening event to kick off the franchise in the bears spiritual home Sydney , after which all future home games will be played in their new home Perth.

The branding is not appealing to anyone, it's got the stench is not winning anything since 1922

It never had many juniors, even less now it's been in the NRL wilderness for over 25 years

It's also completely fungible. It could be tied up with a number of NSW or QLD cup sides. The gears don't offer much here

It's no longer North Sydney's spirit. The team doesn't belong to them anymore.

Bro, does no one remember the WA government meeting with the Sharkies around 2019 or so about a relocation?

I.... clearly .... showed you he didn't place North Sydneys involvement as a condition ,
While you've shown zip to back your false statement ...

Fools who said they shouldn't be involved at all... are to be ignored for the fools they are

From an insider the NS partnership was a non negotiable from the NRL. Trust me if it wasnt the WA consortium bid would have gone it alone. They were only looking for feeder club partnerships, not a relocated brand.
WA Govt has always sat on the fence and been clear that it didnt support one way or another but just wanted a sustainable NRL club in Perth,

Water under the bridge now, we just have to make the best of it.

Only confirms that we`d be crazy not to include Super League teams in any of these international club game ventures.

So for the 2026 Vegas opener, we're at around 10,000 from the UK according to Hull Daily Mail, and 15,000 from Australia according to SMH.

Comparing to previous years, around 15,000 travelled from Australia to Vegas in 2024 and 20,000 in 2025 according to The Guardian. That 2024 number was validated by the NRL with US sales being around 23,000 and non-AU/UK international sales being around 2,700.

For 2025, SportsCal reported that 10,000 travelled from the UK and 15,000 from the US for the 45,209 crowd.

Now we know each of the teams playing in the Nines gets 25 tickets each and with 42 teams confirmed so far, that's 1,050 tickets. There's also a further 45 teams taking part in the school's gala day, so arguably would be roughly another 1,000 tickets allocated there.

Puts us close to 30,000 excluding any domestic sales in the US.
