Cmon @Stevie that's Italian as it comes.
Now can you please contact your whisperer and ask about our Marquee signing for next yr
I’ve actually just thrown a line out re Matto. Something more going on re head knock and possibly retiring him for 26 I think but have no info yet so pure speculation.

If I get anything I’m happy to message any of you blokes directly as I’m not giving that pathetically egotistical bedroom podcaster any possible ammo to make it personal towards me.

That was my point. We're bitching about Lomax breaking a contract but it's fine for Pezet to do the same?
Pezet didn’t break a contract. He had a clause that allowed him to leave if the Storm re-signed Munster and Hughes. He did exactly as the contract allowed him.

Who was the idiot in here arguing with me saying we are better off waiting until June to sign players for 2027? We need to be active now! (Actually 2 months ago)
We were active two months ago. We tried to sign Koloamatangi but he is chasing premierships in Wollongong.

Can we pls stop blowing our loads about Souths and giving them credit. Money talks, simple as that. I know the Broncos have strong financial resources and The Thoroughbreds, but Souths are owned by billionaires. Have a look at the net worth of Mike Cannon-Brookes, Russell Crowe, and to a lesser extent James Packer. The rich clubs like Souths, Roosters (Nick Politis) and Bulldogs (Laundy) all have billionaires involved and will always offer more beyond the salary cap than other clubs. The rich clubs can always find a way to fit elite players into already stacked rosters (loaded with rep players). Sadly Parra just doesn’t have a billionaire private owner. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think Mark O’Neill et al are particularly effective at recruitment, but they’re never going to land a big fish when competing against those other clubs. It’s just a fact of life. Best we can hope for is to produce and retain elite juniors and extract value before the rich clubs poach them. It pains me to say it, but that’s why I respect and admire the Panthers success. Unlike your Souths and Roosters, they didn’t buy a premiership. Year after year they lose their homegrown talent but still produce quality players…
Welcome mate, and great post. But you are going to get lynched on here for suggesting some clubs have advantages unavailable to the rest of us.

You have stated a few times that you expect a big signing for 2027. Do you honestly reckon we will land a marquee player ?
Depends what you mean by marquee player. Do you consider 2025 signings like JAC, Walker and Williams to be marquees? I don’t, but they are still big signings. I reckon we’ll get a few more like that. I’m actually keen to see how we go with retention of youngsters. It’s been crickets for a while now.
