Having lamb chops for dinner with a recipe from Karen Martini . It has capsicum and potatoes in it, good way to use up the fatty lamb chops. I am using some i had in the freezer from previous meat tray wins and the ones from last night will be good for another time.
Talk about shrinkflation, found a pic of one of the trays i won in September and it had 6 lamb chops, 6 sausages, 3 pork chops and a big piece of steak, the one last night had 4 lamb chops, 4 sausages and 2 pork chops besides the steak, still though can't complain as you get the tickets when you buy a drink.

Here is the lamb chop recipe from Karen Martini, Nutz, you could omit the garlic.

This is a good recipe using lamb chops from Karen Martini. I like using red capsicum in it.

One Pot Greek Lamb Casserole
Karen Martini

Serves 4

8 Lamb Chump Chops
1 Large Onion halved and sliced
1/2 t spoon Minced Chilli (or to taste)
2 Cloves Garlic roughly sliced
1 t spoon Dried Oregano (or fresh if you have it)
2 Capsicums of any colour chopped roughly into squares
3 Large Desiree Potatoes chopped into roughly 3cm pieces
1 tin Chopped Tomatoes
Splash of Olive Oil
80mls Red Wine Vinegar
Salt & Pepper to taste

Brown chops in a pan for at least 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Do not use oil for this as it will help to render some of the fat and flavour from the lamb. Season with heaps of pepper and some salt while browning. Then add a splash of olive oil to the pan and continue to cook chops until they are dark brown on both sides and there are caramelised oil, fat and juices on the bottom of the pan.

Remove chops from pan and add the onion, chilli, garlic and oregano. Cook stirring so that the onion etc takes up the pan juices. Add capsicum and cook stirring for 2-3 minutes. Add potato to the pan and continue to cook, stirring, until the edges of the potato pieces start to look cooked. Return the chops to the pan, laying them on the top of the other ingredients. Add the red wine vinegar and stir then add the tinned tomatoes and stir. Add enough water to the pan to cover the chops and other ingredients. Bring to the boil and then cover and simmer for 50-55minutes until the meat is falling off the bones.

As I’ve said, there’s best Aussie take away food I’ve eaten is run by Chinese who don’t speak much English.

If Angus Taylor suggests they go back to china, I’m f**king chaining myself to the skillet.
Yes with the take away's, it is either the Chinese or the Greeks which do the great takeaway especially the old school burgers, the old Greek take away's seem to be a dying breed now.

Yes, the old school burger.

I haven’t visited a McDonalds since I can remember.

I had a Bondi burger from a-portals or whatever it’s called on the way home last night. The chicken was very thin dry and stringy. It seemed to be pulverised. It was odd.

Ive also had a pie malfunction from a famous brand and I wrote to them (kindly) and they freaked out, apologised and are sending me some things. Just a manufacturing defect. The machine forgot to add the meat.
I took a photo, gave them the batch number. They wanted the store.

Your first port of call should be to think your food company wants to keep things cool.

Yes i haven't had McDonalds in at least 25 years, was so sick after it one time and have never been back. I don't mind a Hungry Jacks Double Whopper maybe once a year. O Porto's is very overated and put to much saucy slop on their burgers, don't frequent O Porto's very often but i did get a nice chicken and halloumi burger at the EQ a couple of months ago.

Like your pie malfunction many years ago my parents bought a can of Heinz spaghetti in tomato sauce and when the can was opened it only had 3 strands of spaghetti in it, my father contacted the company and we ended getting a whole case of Heinz products.

Had Henny Penny last Sunday at East Maitland driving back from up the North Coast, it's still hanging in by a thread in the Newcastle area but i remember when it was in Sydney, it crapped all over Kentucky Fried Chicken.

I still remember the Flying Pie Man being linked to a story where it was caught using dog food just like what happened to Hartee's Hamburgers, the Flying Pie Man closed not long after the report.

Well McDonalds sold proper Thick Shakes back in the day.

There was a machine at Erina McDonalds that had happy gremlins in it and made the best thick shake. I only went up there once, but I shan’t forget it.

Now it’s thin and runny and you can taste the chemicals in the flavour.

I swear they put battery acid in it @bluebags.

And I was shocked to learn that Donald McRonald is all over the Epstein files.

As a kid I thought Grimace was misunderstood. He hated Donald, so he was a good role model.

And you used to get slingshots and other toy weapons in the Happy Meal.
