True. Do super rugby clubs want him? He has a lot of options doesn't he. I think Parra would agree to any option that isn't Melbourne Storm, Brisbane Broncos, Sydney Roosters, Souths or the Dogs. He seems to really want to go to the Storm even though they dont want him unless it is a very sweet deal for them.

Ever since we made a club statement we were taking this matter to court.

We have let Arthur Moses do the talking for us in the court room and said nothing but let the court process take effect.

While on the other side there has been a continuous running commentary in the media by 3 people Matt Tripp, Justin Rodski, PVL.

Abdo has sort of kept his mouth shut.

Now @Legal Eel you may help me here but i thought considering all those individuals who have been subpoenaed to court they shouldn't be making any public statements while its still in the courts.

Are they allowed to make any public statements after being subpoenaed ???

Tripp was carrying on in the paper a week or so ago.

Rodeski basically confirmed on a live radio interview last week he had to head to court and then went on in the same interview to talk about Lomax's mental health and how his a victim.

PVL is rambling on podcasts basically whacking Parramatta on live radio interviews 2 or 3 days after he was subpoenaed.

PVL's behaviour in all of this is actually worse than that of Zac and the Storm in my opinion.

His ongoing comments for a chairman running the NRL while there are upcoming court proceedings are a disgrace.

I wonder what his reaction would be if his CEO Abdo approached him to leave as he got an offer from say, Tour de France or to run the EPL at triple the pay. Out of good faith he would possibly let him walk as Parra did (and likely with conditions).
Then, lets say the deal falls through and Abdo gets an offer to take the AFL CEO role (sideways move on similar pay).
Does PVL say that Abdo is doing the best for his family and not protect the NRL from direct competitors?

Given we’re due to find out today what NRL have been saying to Scum, I was wondering if there might be any damage control over the weekend. Does this classify as damage control? I’d say either no and worst case Abdo is just smarter then Rodski’s “it’s off mate” moment; or if this is all the damage control they can muster then they’re probably f**ked up bad. I’m still leaning to NRL haven’t f**ked up, at least evidentially, but I’m sure we’ll read about it in couple hours or so
