Capitulation under pressure is the Eels way.Tbh, it seems like we've capitulated under pressure. If we don't get a player off our books tomorrow, it's basically a loss for us.

Someone said on a Eels group in Fb that this has shown the underbelly of the NRL. PVL is dodgy merkin and the best thing for the game maybe to go through with the court case.funny how as soon as parra subpoenaed the nrl this new offer magically appeared just before the court case started
it must be something decent or the eels would have just said stick it where the sun don't shine we'll see you inside
who's applying the blowtorch now?

To me it's Abdo in the firing line - he was the one the Storm sent the text to, seemingly expecting him to instigate some NRL pressure.Someone said on a Eels group in Fb that this has shown the underbelly of the NRL. We're not a f**ken charity!!!If we get 300k compensation I think we should give it all to charities or the womens game. It would make us look good as a club. And generate a new wave of fans. Short term loss with long term gains.
About as good as Kautoga, though with a larger sample. Kautoga was good last year but might be a one season wonder. Both of them are better than Tuilagi.I really don’t watch Blore much. Where would you rank him against our back row options? Where does he rank in the scheme of things.
Then why would we have a board meeting over it?I knew as soon as the NRL was subpoenaed that head office would go into overdrive to ensure a deal was done. The dirty laundry that would be aired in court could bring the whole NRL competition. I have no doubt a blowtorch has probably been put on both clubs over the weekend that its resolve or else ….
I heard the storm were only willing to offer a junior as a player swap, and no one at parra has even heard of him.

Go woke, go brokeIt's about spending money to generate even more money down the track by collecting fans and possibility of more and better sponsors.
Do tell ?We won’t be going back into court today.
I believe we have agreed to a deal. I don’t know what it is.Do tell ?
You can’t force someone to play for a club they don’t want to play for and have no contract with. Then why would we have a board meeting over it?
If they can get lomax to break his contract or release why cant they force howarth to break his contract and force him to come to parra
