I am more concerned about the 6 again rule change.

Its just given the Refs more oppourtunity to manipulate or manage a game how they like without anyone even having a chance to go back and enquire whats happened.

I was a fan of the rule but not that they have extended it back to the opposition 20m line. That now leaves the length of 80m of play the 6 again rule can be used.

Where it was on 40m was the right area & balance on the ground.

I am going to be watching closely this weekend how it goes. As a neutral its going to be interesting.

The 6 agains last night it was a big difference to how the Vegas games were officiated. We got pinned about 4 times on the last tackle.

So your making 10 or 11 tackles in a set.

And then to make it not look suss at the end he gives us more six agains when we couldn't get one at the beginning but the damage was done

We sack BA, we let go a truckload of players yet 2 years in a row, first game of the season we get obliterated...WTF is wrong with this club..lose ok. But to get absolutely destroyed, embarrassed, annihilated...2 years in a row...
You cant even say a cleanouts required...done that, new coach, done that...
How about buying some quality 1st graders not not over the hill hacks who have been discarded from other clubs who finish lower than you.

The spineless club will accept it..there was nothing to it. Challenge it you spineless #%#^#
Yeah in all seriousness McDonald lowered his head into the contact. Hopgood tried to lower his shoulder. It’s an outrageous situation the NRL have got themselves into. I really worry about what the game is coming to. And don’t even get me started on the 6 agains and the knock back which was called forward. We were bad, but we were never given a chance.

Well, that was unexpected. Ref was bad but we were way worse. Melb spine tore us apart. Hopgood sin-bin, HIA and bringing Papalii on killed any chance we may have had. Too gassed and too many errors to compete. Thought Da Silva and Kelly were real bad. Iongi & Russell best of the bunch. Only was is up!

Embarrassed to be an eels fan tonight. Havent felt that way in a while.

I can also see Moses requesting an early release in a year or two. At least we got lincoln and lorenzo coming through right...
I’m alway embarrassed to be an Eels fan. I’m a rolling punchline.

Be careful those signings were celebrated on here like they were immortals.
Nobody was expecting much from them but JDB was one of our best last night. Kelly was no worse than our other outside backs, who all looked as good as outside backs do when their team only has 40% of the ball.

We are probably a good 3-4 years away from seeing our juniors come through and replacing the garbage we have in the first grade side...

I will stand by this we won't win a competition with Moses at the club.

If we have anyone around that has a clue we need to get a halves coach in to teach our young guys how to read and run a game...

His 2nd half wasnt the issue it was his first.
He needs to be able to take control and have a feel for the game. At 10-4 He needed to get the side to go back to basics and kick chase with forward runs. Very simple. Instead we kept trying to score off every single play. There will be games it clicks and people go WOW but against the big boys it doesnt work.
We know he can play and is flashy but part of the game is control and knowing when to push things.
