The current 6 is a typical Storm system reserve grader. Talatina is a much better defender and quicker at the line, Pezet was targeted verbally and physically last night and didn’t want to take them on, an awful outcome for an NRL player.

It's almost as if Talataina has taken the signing of Pezet personally - Pezet has been ordinary, at the very best, while Lorenzo is killing it in Cup.

I reckon Lorenzo will be our 6 by season's end...

Lorenzo, but Apa is interesting prospect...he's another that could be hard to ignore in a month or 2.

tbh, I don't know why we even bothered with Pez, I would of just put joash there, we at least would of looked more dangerous around the ball ...

We were sold Pezet by Anasta who then somehow sold us on having him for a year and developing him for the Broncos..

It's same with JDB Dragons didn't want him and somehow we have him for his "experience" and the dragons are not missing him...

I love conspiracy theories as entertainment, but I’m generally disinclined to believe them. I thought there was no chance the NRL would direct the refs to screw us last night but after watching it, from the constant six agains to the blatant wrong call on our Captain’s Challenge, the tinfoil hattters look l like they were on the money. I have backflipped on this one. Just call me Pouvenger.

Dragons have copped 2 dodgy game changing decisions in the final few minutes 2 years in a row against the Dogs. Welcome to the world of the have nots as far as the NRL is concerned.

It wasn’t a game to see the best of a guy like DeBelin . It was played at a crazy speed with Parra defending set upon set . I thought he had a couple of tackles where he turtled the guy and slowed it down a bit legally. He’ll be more value to us when the games are actually like footy not whatever touch football rubbish we played last night.

Thought both hookers were poor as was Junior who has the JDB excuse . Penisini is a problem .

We didn’t have enough ball to worry about looking dangerous. And I thought Pezet defended as well as anyone could behind a gassed pack. The reserve grade halves missed more tackles against weaker opposition. Yes he was ineffective in attack, but as merkins have said, the Storm made an extra effort for him.

Why are we so inconsistent at completing our sets? We have the best long kicker in the game. We need to use him. He only kicked the ball seven times last night. We left hundreds of metres on the table.

Why? Because we have forwards that think they are ball players.. It was pretty frustrating as a fan last night

You’re not being serious , he was terrible and no wonder he was the target by the storm, they knew his weakness and he was exploited time and again. Offered so little with the ball in hand and both he and Kelly were so poor one on one it was horrendous at NRL level. Difficult to see Pezet standing in the way of the younger players, he’s a stop gap over sold by his manager, and as usual not recognised by our lot.
