The thing is, nothing has really changed for the broncos. They were bog average at times last season and at no point did they look like winning the comp until Walsh caught fire some time in the 2nd half against Canberra.

The only time they played this poorly was against the Sea Eagles coming off Origin.

They were always there abouts, it was just a matter of hitting Top 4 and getting their best team on the park.

Half agree there but I do think they built up at the right time. Last year they knew they could run over teams. Three straight finals comebacks is no fluke - but it’s not sustainable

did the job last season, but you can’t build a dynasty off it

Also hadn't had the week off they did. And if McLean was offside, that's three bombed tries as he could have taken that intercept from the dead ball line. Still, the signs of fatigue were there the previous week when the Dogs scored 20 in the second half.
