It’s almost at the stage where basically giving up a try is a better outcome than having an endless string of 6 agains
100%, of in the case of Riley last week, giving away a penalty with a blatant play is better than just giving up a try by letting someone run past you when you are offside to avoid a 6 again…

I hate that we are up first this round after the NRL announced this big crackdown. The refs will go nuts tonight and there will be players binned and the game wrecked, then the memo will come out tomorrow to the refs that it was too much and to pull it back - but too late for us

NRL sent email to clubs that there’ll be a crackdown. What the f**k was last week then? Could be looking at whistle a minute tonight
I’m losing interest. When it was penalties the refs use to even them up to a certain extent. He loses track of how many 6 agains and it just blows out now

Yep, NRL said there was many ruck infringements last week that should have been called but weren’t.

expecting 20 tonight. Whoever gets the early momentum will win comfortably on the back of it as 6 agains always run with the possession team
If this round becomes a six again fest the NRL will need to be shot out of a canon. Just like when they were sin binning every man and his dog for dodgy tackles a season or two ago.

They don’t even have to lose track. There’s a difference between receiving 2 calls within 2 completed sets (especially if they first tackle calls) receiving 7 tackles each in 2 different possessions, to receiving 2 calls in the same set receiving 13 straight tackles

We all know that the entire team was shit last week. Let's see if the stink is still with us. I'm looking at JR to see what he is capable under 2026 pressure. Surely him being the head coach it's time to show us what he's got.

We started slow last year yet finished like a team on fire.
I'm hoping that we improve quicker this season.
