I don’t want to pick on one player but Feagai has caused me so much anxiety in previous years. When he came on I knew it was going to turn to poo. Cook Saying in the press conference that we got tired in the end is unbelievable. They should be fit enough and tough enough to keep fighting

Bringing up reserve graders is not the answer in most cases. We already have a large number of inexperienced young players in our top 17. The solution is to weed out the deadwood in our top 30 and replace them with top level players.
Totally agree possm.
Thats what my question was to the guy that posted.
Unfortunately with a fairly young squad we can’t just “call on reserve graders” because bar a few in that team they’re all under 22

I’m saying the club HAS been f**ked. But can’t blame an existing coach for the way the club has been handled and the dead wood we still have.

lawrie 550k
Sloan 550k

that itself is enough money to sign a decent front rower which were crucially missing
Flanno resigned Sloan and was a part of the recruitment team that resigned block long term

thoughts on the game, watched late due to living in the US:
- really good 60 minutes, the less said about the last 20 the better
- decent signs from Atkinson, although couple of poor kick decisions (why kick from the right side of the ruck near touch when the wind is going that way ffs
- Fa’alongo is special
- weird that Guler played more minutes than Toby, that can’t happen again
- R Couchman and Luch our best

can’t wait for Liddle to come back, hopefully that means it will be Sele into the front row, Stewart to start and Guler to f**k off

That game said said it all.
If we can’t find a special fullback and a couple of exceptional wingers
We won’t compete.
Then of course you need those special type of halves .
We are 20 percent behind Melbourne in everything .
20 percent is a lot .
You can get your players fit but in the end there is not enough talent.
Looks like we will always see the well
Looked after clubs with the best talent .

There are a few people on here with negative opinions after a loss who you can tell care deeply for the club and make mostly valid comments even if I don't always agree with them. They add something constructive and passionate to the discussion.
Then there are the miserable flogs who almost seem giddy with delight and pop up with multiple low IQ posts after a game like this. There's a few I'm sick to death of seeing and after reading through the post match comments have gone on to my permanent ignore list.

Anyway as for the game. Very frustrating finish. Twenty to go and we're ahead of last years grand finalists despite missing a few too many conversions. Maybe daring to dream. TBH I expected us to probably fall short right at the end but to concede that many so easily in the last twenty hurt to watch. Losing Gutho just before the rot set in didn't help. In the end, one X factor player was the difference between the teams. This needs to be Daniel Anderson's next big kill. He got Keaon. Now he needs to find us at least one but preferably two outside backs who can do what the Melbourne fullback did last night.

Suli and Luch the worst players 😂. Mate honestly they were probably our best..

and the rest of you Blaming coach, blaming recruitment . But not many blaming these f**king players who literally do school boy errors.
A f**king coach can teach you how to play shape and defend in shape.
attack wise thought much better than Vegas- got over the advantage line and scored some decent tries.
But when we MISS 47 tackles (not a coach fault)
When we make 12 errors and f**king hand over CHEAP possession

We kick balls out on the full and that changed momentum both times? Ah shit forgot, coaches fault also.

when you throw offloads to the opposition player . Yep coaches fault.

Honestly watch the f**king game, and realise the coach can’t coach stupid errors out of players! That what f**king players need to do themself. It’s called “ball security” not coaches security.

a lot of you just love coach bashing.. and putting the club down.

if we lost 50-0 for 3 weeks in the row then ask questions. Ffs!

Tend to agree but I think supporters feel these players are not being held accountable because he’s picking the same team every week. Unless your name is Sloan or LKT.

Unbelievable? It’s exactly what we saw, they virtually stopped with 20 minutes to go, they are a 3/4 team.

I’ll pick on him for you if you like. The dragons let Bostock and Tamale walk to keep the plodder that is Feagai. That’s how farked up this club is.

Totally agree and I think Hopa would be a good start if we can manage to nab him...

But after 2 games call for a sacking? he said all along and if everyone on here is a die hard fan knows of the dire we were in!
if people can’t see a slight progression, with players signing (keon) the back room staff and everything’s that’s going good behind the scenes at the club then I can’t help you.
Yes it’s a results driven game but every plan takes time.
Can’t blame Flanno for the 10 years post Bennett era. He’s trying to get the wheels in motion and I do think slowly things are happening.

Enjoy reading your posts.
We all want what is best for us to be successful as we have been in the doldrums for too long.
The only other team had been the Tigers.

In a professional football team, that simply shouldn't happen.

Yes we could all see that they stopped with 20 minutes to go - that was obvious. What fans needed to hear was what they‘re going to do about it.

Instead we get the captain saying they got tired. That’s unbelievable at this level. It was embarrassing, disappointing and honestly not very motivating as a fan. It didn’t give me much confidence moving forward.

Having said that, this was round 2. What happens next is what matters. I did see improvements in Vegas. So they are capable of more grit.

I will be no doubt laughed at for this suggestion but I don’t care, Surely Dufty is worth a look as a depth signing. He would be cheap, has speed and has ball playing skills. Not sure if he’s fixed his defensive issues. We haven’t had any X factor since he left.
