It was great that it happened between the only two foundation teams left in the comp.
The thing that really warmed my heart was when all the players were congratulating Alex after the game, the interaction between Alex and Daniel Tupou looked really genuine, warm and respectful, i would be happy if Toups finishes second on the all time try scoring list behind Alex.

When Ken Irvine broke the record playing for North Sydney, they lost the game to the Dragons 26-18.
Same scoreline the Rabbitohs and AJ lost to the Roosters when he breaks Irvine's record.
Just a cool bit of trivia for a pub chat.
They both also scored twice in their record breaking game.

I work in primary school. One kid at school asked if I went to the game and did I run on. I had kids lined up to watch the video and they were in awe. It’s really been a huge positive talking point and again, congrats to AJ, the Chooks and Rabbits fans and all the fans who have embraced the moment. So exciting and a historic moment. Now, let the footy keep rolling on.
