I'm keen to see how Lussick goes, but keener to see Tago with a stint in the pigs. I'm hoping Ivan gives it a run.

Either or I'm happy either way, as long as we get the win. Off topic slightly saw Sauce's podcast with Mitch Kenny last. Well worth a listen. So articulate and quite deep.

That rubbish was ALWAYS done to give his own players a rest.

Also to influence the ref.

Our guys are onto it. Last year at Commbank at halftime Tedesco charged the ref as he was leaving the field. Yeo was on the spot and ran over to greet him.

Not much more you can do really. If he tries to bend the refs ear get up there with him.

Ken Irvine scored 212 in an era where contacting the corner post was considered out of play.

The game evolved in 2010 when impacting the corner post was deemed not out of the bounds of the playing field.

Alex Johnson broke the try scoring record on the weekend is his achievement deemed less worthy or is it just the evolution of the game.

I’m sorry but the whole foundation club thing is a nonsense, it’s just a historical fact that should offend no one.

Brad Fittler joined the Roosters during the so called super league war as he was entitled to do I don’t see it has any relationship to whether they were a foundation club or not.

No different to our achievement of winning four consecutive grand finals in the modern era? Is it a lesser achievement because certain sides won more than 10 in row in a different era?
I thought about commenting about AJ. A great achievement B UT Ken Irvine played from 1958 to 1973. There were far less points scored probably less than half of the current average. There was the 3/5 yard rule. Anyone that saw games in the 1960/70s will know.

I am not seeking to downgrade AJs record. Ken Irvine was lightening fast and also scored a heap of tries for NSW and Australia. He played for North Sydney and Manly and rumours would fly around that if the man inside did not pass him the ball when he wanted it they would get dropped.

It would be fantastic if Yeo did that again, and every time Teddy starts to say something to the ref he just yelled ‘Squid games!!’

We need to stop this nonsense.

Friendly rivalry banter between opposing fans is ideal but sadly this thread has been hijacked and it really needs to stop.

Call a ceasefire and move on for good ness sakes it has gone way past acceptable and is now toxic.

we need to end it now.

It rained a fair bit here this morning but hopefully the drainage will work at Alliance and the rain stays away during the day. I get the feeling handling will be an issue tonight.

Alex Johnston is a legend, no doubt, for positional play, but Irvine was as you say, lightening fast and In that facet, would have had it over Alex.
