I did get more information on the Lomax saga today from a few people within the club including an ex board member.

Anyway we move on that prick is no mans land playing super rugby.

Both of our teams can get the lube ready and prepare for next week before our Annual Easter Monday clash together where chaos always wins.

Could have used him this year. He really left us in the lurch. Glad he wasn’t rewarded for it.

The good thing is we managed to win 2 games despite basically being outplayed.

Shouldn’t ignore the issue that since the dismantling of the 2022 GF side, the. club has failed to add any replacement level signings of th same experience and level. Sure we got JAC and Lomax , who were a little desperate for different reasons to find a club.

The office seems full,of good administrators but somehow miss the recruitment guru who can sell the vision, the club and complete signings whilst using the cap . Probably until that conundrum is solved we will sit in the 8-12 space and waste the inclusion of a top 3 player in the halves .

What would make last tackle plays a lot more exciting would be if kicks that are caught on the full become a "free play".
That would reward good fullback, wing play a lot more than presently is the case.
That is better than rewarding a good bomb catch with a 7-tackle set because 7 tackles is too much advantage.

I saw that as well, it was very obvious what we were doing, very staged, but all players had their eyes on the ball, and they shielded Iongi by forming a semi circle in front of him.

I think they all learned from when Pezet got penalised for "lookin".
