I’d love to play Reed ( kid just runs the 2nds) but maybe a tad early, but with him in the team ( KOE Cup) there never seems a lack of direction

Watching the likes of Kyle, Atkinson, Tu and Tui run around, on top of Gutherson and Holmes feeble efforts at ball security, and thinking "this is our best backline?"...I have never been so despondent at an assembled team in my life. This is not a makeshift line up. This is the what the coach honestly thinks is our best set up to win games.

Hyperboles get thrown out a lot but this is the worst set of backs this club has seen.

The coach won't budge on any of it. Still copy/paste "we can't win the close ones"...well the forwards stood up for the most part and we still cant win the close ones because we have no frickin points in us. Can't win on defence if we have lapse of concentration or shut off after 60 minutes.

A win doesn't change anything but I'd have the Titans as sdeserved favourites next week in any case.

When we had Hunt he still couldn't do itand Widdop eas our last decent hslf.

3rd year under Flano same shit.

Recruited nothing expecting young snd old to cut it eith no marquees.
Keaon is not going to fix it.

I think Sloan (and Dufty before him) has been the scapegoat for our crap results. Sure, hes not the best defensive fullback but offensively he gives us a bit of spark and creativity. Fast, good footwork and can throw a good pass, he is what we need given how pedestrian the rest of the backline is. He also chases the high ball which none of our backs were willing to do. Almost made me wish we still had Lomax watching yesterday..............

We need more creativity in the halves. Kyle isn't good enough in attack. LKT has to eventually play 6 with Atkinson at 7 but Shane won't drop his son which is a shame as it'll keep costing us games. Lawrie shouldn't be picked anymore. Sele, Loko and Halangahu need to play depending on who's in better form. Sloan should play over Tu on the wing. Need his speed and try scoring ability.
