I'd go Smith, he offers great versatility and options. The young fella Graham is going amazing but its a long season

Dunno if McEwen has gone backwards. He had some good moments last year but was completely shot by years end. He was atrocious defensively. I think he’s been a lot more solid this year barring the first half of the Warriors game and was one of our best against the Dogs.

He’s still learning to play 80 and be consistent but I’ve got no doubt he’ll get there.

As for Cant I’ve not seen anything from him to suggest he’s FG standard. The sooner ESL or Manuleleua get a spot ahead of him the better.

I hope they lock up recruitment guru O' Sullivan on a long term contract. He should never be able to leave. Really stoked with what he's done.

I like how our second rowers are different styles from each other. McEwen is power and energy while Lucas is more mobile and finesse. Croker has become a real good player. Poor man's Yeo. Hope he continues to develop his game.

He was completely dudded by the Titans after overachieving and come back to Newcastle and has finally put some pride back in to our side.

Holbrook no doubt turned the place around and I'm loving the style of footy we're playing but I'd suggest not having Jack f***ing Cogger out there stinking it up has made an equal difference.

Guy was the worst halfback I've seen at this level.
