The problem for the club in respect of Tago is he is one of the highest paid outside backs and is currently signed till the end of 2028, He gets paid more than Brian To‘o.

So the question is are the club trying to force his hand and push him out to free up salary cap space which obviously is much needed?

If another club comes calling which is entirely likely how much of his current salary would we be prepared to cough up, given his is on 700-750K a season.

Post Gould the current administration don’t do business that way apparently but would another club be willing to cough up 700k a season I don’t know.

After Hassett left I was wondering who from Cup was going to step up. Luke Bowden did say Billy Phillips. We do need to let Tago go for some upgrades to the likes of him and pre pay Cleary for an extension. What's doing with Luron?

His form has most been rocks for years, those rare diamonds are spectacular but they look to be in the past. The man used to break tackles a will....thats been gone from his game for a long time now.
