That's 2 games right..?

Yeah, well, the NRL was not looking for a Manly type club as the new Brisbane team.Deference to their home I guess. Why do manly play at Brookie and not at the SFS? Same logic
They must’ve been though otherwise they wouldn’t approve them playing games at Redcliffe?Yeah, well, the NRL was not looking for a Manly type club as the new Brisbane team.
9000 crowd is an absolute joke.
While the crowd was bad, I will admit the Dolphins jersey is much better than it was last season and earlier. It is a very nice jersey now.
its not about that though, why wouldn't you schedule a game at Suncorp over the Easter long weekend? Broncos, Dolphins, whoever. They could have scheduled in a bigger draw than the Sea Eagles if they wanted to.Look I grew up in Sydney and now live up here. Redcliffe to Suncorp is like heading into the SFS from Penrith or Campbelltown. Since the club has its foundations in Redcliffe and that forms the basis of their memberships and fans, a couple of games are needed.
So you clearly don't have knowledge of the Brisbane road network, worse than Sydney to head into the CBD from outer suburbs during peak hour.
They wanted thier big banner there instead of people lol.Instead they looked at that and thought hmmm nope, we won’t be doing that.
Couldn’t they go with “east coast dolphins “? Or ”south/Queensland dolphins“? even “eastern dolphins “?They should have been called the North Brisbane or Moreton Bay Dolphins from the beginning with a couple games in the Sunshine Coast and the rest at Suncorp. They could have still used Dolphin Oval as thier COE but they need to think bigger. Still feels weird they went with just Dolphins.
I have a bad feeling they will just rename the team Redcliffe when they are allowed.
That is still true of most clubs. The NRL should take over the regular season games like they do finals.Easily 75% Dogs fans here right now. Souths front office completely asleep at the wheel when it comes to enticing people to games.
It's more that they didn't even try.I mean we were never going to replicate last season, that was off the back of the Dogs being a good side for the first time in 10 years... all things lined up for them.
But this should easily be 50k here and I doubt it cracks 40k. And it would probably be 18-20k if we weren't playing the Dogs.
$21.30 tickets for AJs 213 tries was right there too...It's more that they didn't even try.
Why not do $10 tickets on the top tier and promote it as a cost of living deal or something. Do something rather than nothing.
Yes but you wouldn't schedule a Thursday night game at Suncorp. That's a draw issue. If it was Easter Saturday or Sunday, then sure run it at Suncorp.its not about that though, why wouldn't you schedule a game at Suncorp over the Easter long weekend? Broncos, Dolphins, whoever. Moreton Bay was such an easy win of a name. I agree though, they're just waiting for the Broncos/Titans/Cows to enter the QCup and then rename themselves Redcliffe once the QRL can no longer say no.They should have been called the North Brisbane or Moreton Bay Dolphins from the beginning with a couple games in the Sunshine Coast and the rest at Suncorp. Seems they just think that moving a few games to Allianz is the masterstroke and that`s it, what`s the bet they average 15k there as well.Easily 75% Dogs fans here right now. Souths front office completely asleep at the wheel when it comes to enticing people to games.

Moreton though, it works so many different and broad ways:
- Moreton Bay City Council (where they are based)
- Moreton Bay the body of water (Bribe down to the Southern Bay Islands in the Northern Gold Coast)
- Moreton the island (in the Brisbane City Council boundaries)
- the 'West Moreton' region, being Ipswich/Lockyer Valley/etc
