How is the guymer signing shit? Hes a 21 year old whos still developing. Had some okay flashes to end last season. We probably didnt pay all that much either. Its not like we gave him a 6 year 800k deal. 2 years to see if he can crack our regular rotation if he does then we got a steal if not hes not a shit option for depth. His running game needs work but hes decent defender. Honestly a player who would look great in the riff system.
Isnt it for just one season though? In our situation of rebuilding paying too much is acceptable if it is for 1 season.
He’s an utter plodder, I’ve seen absolutely nothing to show me he’s a first grader. His best game was his first one. Since then he’s been meh.

Why else would he have agreed to a club option? The player needs something in return.
We don’t know how much other interest there was. But given the lack of NRL players for all the demand from 18 clubs, there’s interest in every player at the right price. JDB was good last year. Ryles just needs to get the best out of him.
We need to spend our cap. If you turn your nose up at every player you won’t fill a squad, which we seem to have done in previous years.
