Mate, I didn’t inflate anything—I’m just repeating what a player manager reckons he’s on. So what’s the issue here? Are you questioning it because it came from me, or do you somehow think a journalist’s estimate automatically carries more weight?

They just want the best story. Sometimes the best story is that a player is on overs, other times it's that he is on unders. They never report an amount that most fans would think is reasonable. There's no outrage there.

But if he somehow is, that’s even more reason we should be going after him and getting the Panthers to chip in like they did with Waqa Blake. Hopefully he turns out a lot better than Blake did.

Will say I like it said earlier JDB $350-400k
Tago maybe $750k however if not performing or some disciplinary issues and the blokes who are keeping him out (Alamoti and Jenkins) aren't on that combined and absolutely killing it then it may be a ploy to have him ask for a release.
Riff could easily bring up the Jesse Mclean and they wouldnt miss a beat..

Waqa wasn't horrible the whole time. The first 2 years with us he was an exciting player to watch..

I don't reckon the Panthers want to chip anything in, which is why they've dropped him. They want Tago to demand to leave.

Completely different Tago resigned with his current club in 2024 for lets go with 750k i think it was an extension till 28. While we decided to sign a 35 year old on lets say 500k to play nsw cup. Who wasn't wanted at his club.

Both ended up in cup but 1 is still worth what he is getting paid.

They’re not, but the media have apparently fabricated both figures, but apparently in different directions. And now Too as well. Why? Is it simply they also don’t know the figures, or is there some other reason? And then whatever the reason, how do we use it for our benefit?
