It's pretty sad when the coach doesn't know what to do. Everyone else can see the obvious that players need to be dropped when not performing no matter how much they are being paid and to use players in their correct positions. Good coaches have courage and can't play favorites or you perish.
May I ask who we bring him?

because what I know as a die hard fan is,
We don’t have a backup 1 (don’t say Sloan)
Center and wingers are all average . Buchanan was terrible last week
Halves, we have reed but personally I wouldn’t play him after 0-5 start and behind a punch of weak forwards.
in our forwards. We can bring in Loko and that’s abit it.

so yeah not sure what changes everyone wants because I can’t see any that will give us that X factor

That shows how shit the recruitment is
Been like that for 15 years.
But we seem to be specialists at having a shit club.

Ow thing stood out was when a forward made a good run there was not a player within 5 metres to take an offload if there was one.

What is causing this? Something is going on. We are the worst this year out of any. JDB going or Atkinson still learning or is it Ennis is not effective? We played crap with Kyle gone. It’s not either of the Flanagans. Is it being moved to the new centre or new ceo. There’s something definitely amiss.
If you don't believe in the coach, and if you are not fit enough to go flat out for 80 minutes, it is hard to perform at your best.

Atkinson has shown me he is NOT a 7. Hoever I do believe he could make a good 6. With Reed at 7 from now on, he should be ready to really fire in 2024.

Lawrie should go to reserve-grade and Loko could be our 16 along side R Couchman 15.

There has to be changes & I’m sure there will be. I just don’t think Shane wanted to throw anyone under the bus in that press conference.
How many times has this fraud coach stated there will be changes, only to then name virtually the same team for the following week?

As usual there will be one or two scape goats of no consequence but the crux of this shit team that he has assembled will remain the same.

Last week was the Safest day of my life as Dragons supporter
Today I felt nothing
I’m getting less feelings for our club
when LKT threw that ball to no one and they went 90m and scored i was laughing maniacally, about 15 of my family members looked at me and asked if i was genuinely ok. I couldn’t help it, it was the most dragons play i could imagine

I was at the match and once again we had a complete shambles in defence and attack. Being booed off at half time had no effect apart from making us worse. As others have said we had no offloads and did mostly one off running. Once you saw Blocker get the ball you knew he was going to die with it. We never even looked like scoring and it also seems now that we have no luck at all. Every ball bounce against us goes perfectly to the opposition but never bounces to us. LKT seemed useless and throwing the awful pass that gave them the 90m try summed up his night. I know from seeing him play last year that Atkinson is definitely a 6 and a very good one if given the chance. Flanno has to give Reed a go next week at 7 and Atkinson at 6. Gutho got absolutely booed off at full time and deserved it. Even if its Sloan replacing him Gutho has to go next week although its being reported we might have Trai Fuller by next week. Liddle has to start and Cook be on the bench. LPT has to replace Blocker if were to have any chance. I dont know if Flanno is up to any change but i think one more loss to 0 points will see him removed. Im suprised he lasted tonight- there were so many unhappy supporters there tonight and its starting to get ugly. So many premium seats empty tonight. A lot of supporters couldn’t even bother to turn up. Many more losses will see our fan base vanish. Something needs to be done and done right now. The booing tonight proved it

Sure mate. I’m over the moon that Flanagan was extended. Give him another 5 years I say. If it makes you happy to see the dragons lose to prove that Flanagan is shit, then go nuts champ. Go out and celebrate all you want. Everyone is a clown except for you
I would've liked for nothing more than Flanagan to prove me wrong, unfortunately as time has gone by, my previous criticisms of Flanagan have only become more and more accurate.

On the bright side for me as a Dragons supporter and forum member, I am not disappointed because I never had high expectations with Flanagan as a our coach. My credibility on this forum remains in tact with my astute Flanagan related observations from the beginning. This is the least that I can say for many others on here.

The sooner yourself and other members of the forum, approach me to clear the air with an admission of their wrongs, the sooner we can all begin to move on and get behind the team and whomever the new coach will be.

OK, old mate, I probably thought you were being too quick to bury Flanagan. I respected your right to put your opinion out there, but didn't always agree with it. As it turns out, you have been more "right" than anyone here about Flanagan. I wished you had not have been right, and we weren't suffering as much as we are at the minute; but you are on the right side of this all.

Thank you Rob, I appreciate you saying this, mate. Hopefully better days are ahead for us long suffering supporters.

I was at the match and once again we had a complete shambles in defence and attack. Being booed off at half time had no effect apart from making us worse.

This is very significant to me.

The stupid boot to the face led to a try seconds out from halftime which put them in an unassailable lead...only to do one better with LKT horrendous intercept clunk of a pass with a 13 on 12 advantage. Two players given a chance to grab a spot in the team and they do that. And then somehow it just got worse from there.

My point is it really makes sense now Flanagan calling this group no chance of winning before a match was played. They are trying hard on face value but they are like little boys mentally. Gutherson is done in mind and body, Liddle looks unhappy and out of favour and good old Blake Lawrie...I don't even know what to say about him. Just a snapshot.

SG's 100% lost the playing group and helped create this tragedy but also, I'm keeping Stewart, Sua and a Couchman and sending every other player out there today on their way. Standards should be way higher.

How insulting to serve this up to start a season, and yet it's better we don't win right now because if there's one thing our leaders like it is hiding behind the odd meaningless victory that we've previously managed. Cold comfort I know.

I know in my heart that booing is bad sportsmanship, but I get it 100% and I suggest those same fans stop attending games from here on in and send the club a message to the purse, which is the thing they actually care about.
