There is no reason we shouldn’t put 50 on this rabble. They are fragile on the edges.

I wouldn’t be concerned about the Dribbler’s puff piece about which players may leave, etc.

I'm sure well see some Cleary's to PNG stories, player x,y and z off contract stories and Penrith bending the rules stories in the coming week.

Started today, Weidler AKA Gus’ mouthpiece & Bulldogs Number 1 cheerleader with a negative story about us, this will happen all week trying to destabilise us.
It’s a bit of a non event. just talking about the fact we have 13 players coming off contract and how Kenny and Martin could be two players who could leave.

I think of the 13 free to negotiate from Nov 1 there will be a few including Kenny and Martin Wii be seeing what’s on offer, Given there age , there next deal is an important. Given Penrith have a number of exciting juniors coming thru in there positions it is likely both Kenny and Martin will leave. Putea and Fonua are another two who are unlikely to be resigned by us.

All we need to do is not kick to tracey..

His kick returns and coverage at the back is top notch and extremley underated.. hes good for 20m+ every kick return.. but he is extremley nullified on 2nd 3rd tackle.

Kick to their wings, ideally kiraz and chase well..takes away his offload when the whole team is running back and he has no one to offload too.

Without traceys kick returns and kirazs offloads on the pig plays their middles lack punch and we can really pin them down in their end..

As well as we are playing i want to see us still be smart and break teams down and hammer their weaknesses.

We cant take any team lightly and i dont think we will but atm i think complacency or injuries are the only thing that will beat us.

Its a long year and i dont expect it will alll be smooth sailing. Origin may be extra disruptive this year... guys like milky and casey are smokies..smith is a smokie.. so that will be disruptive.

So important we stay fit and win well pre origin.

When has a fullback ever played well against us? I am never worried about fullbacks. Unpredictable play is what gets us

The club has likely touched base with them all, Most you would think stay but we go deep in every position if not.

We have most of the next guys up locked in. Zac Clarke has taken Eisenhuth's top 30 spot so we now look to have planned for edge depth

Gosh I hope Patea being on the complete outer is not true. He was a bit of a game breaker for us in our winning run last year.

Whatever the issue the Coaching staff have with him, I hope Luron sorts it out.
I assume he is currently out injured. We don’t seem to have injury updates any more on PI so not really sure on his status going forward. I kind of think he would need do something pretty special to get back in the mix if and when he does come back to get anywhere near our top17. Liam Henry will be struggling to get a spot back and he is twice the player Patea is.

Didn’t have intentions to go this week, the show is on P1 car park already booked out, but Nathan’s 200th game, we are on a roll, I’m thinking why not just keep on so we’ll be there.

Will just back the coaches with patea, they know how to develop players and dropping them back is part of that. Tbh patea was named in the first weeks nrl team I don’t think he’s that far out of contention, he’s just been overtaken by Phillips who looks to be a elite prospect. Once patea back from injury it will be interesting. If he doesn’t force himself back into consideration by end of year I think it’s over for him here, we have some great young middle prospects in sg ball and hm, 3 very highlighted rated middles have been extended the last couple months.

Dogs pack is weak - just keep the hunger and the points will keep coming

Just have to be careful with the refs - we are already getting nit picked because we are so far ahead of the comp - wont surprise me that we get Klein for a majority of the season - its not good viewing watching Penrith destroy teams (its fantastic for us :)) but why should we get nit picked for being too good

Girds has it right though.

Its not exactly a talent on show. Tracey just runs the ball back with gusto. He makes yards more than any other fullback in the comp. Even our own Dylan.

Take that away from the Dogs and they can't even get in the game. They'll be camped with only Burton's boot to save them. That is the next target. Cleary got a charge down against them last year I'll back him to do it again.

I just loathe homebush these days.

I've been enjoying the road trips to Parra. But nothing excites me about Homebush.
