Personally this is a perfect example of Ryles stripping the joint of lots of experience, leaving heavy lifting to borderline first graders and rookies he and the other two have a lot to answer for

Moses had a groin injury I think. Strapping on upper thigh.

May not risk him next week.

Yeah, the ref was an absolute merkin, no question—but this whole shitshow traces back to Mark O’Neill. He’s the one who’s f**ked this roster since the GF. The blame sits squarely with him—useless prick couldn’t attract a seasoned whore even if he was swinging a 10-inch cock.

Get rid of him and his team before he gets another coach sacked with his incompetence.
I wouldn't have said it like that but yes what that man said.

Tell me who we have signed of note since the GF ? Apart from Lomax which by all accounts was down to BA and a Dinner

But he was only sin binned because he was injured. Would it have been a sin bin otherwise?
I don’t see what that has to do with anything really, if Moses was knocked out on his high shot late that would’ve been a bin as well. That can apply to most foul play in the game. If it causes a serious injury you are getting binned, if it doesn’t you likely aren’t.

I took away from it what you have but you also gotta let the more emotionally engaged fans react for a while.
Hopefully that game instills some real grit into this team in the future.
Horrendous injury toll. Looking forward to see some rookies thrown into the deep end.
Gimme a 2 pt loss scrapathon over a floggin, any day.
lol I’m the only person not emotionally engaged. I’m just saying, how many year are we going to blame injuries, or refs, or bad luck etc.

We are just a pretty terrible club, and have been for a long time.

I love us, I love our history but we are not a good club.

Let’s assume the referee gave us every 50 / 50 call but didn’t bin their player . We still lose . Tigers were by far the better team and wanted it more .

Unless we read this week that there’s been a major shake up at Parramatta , our clubs not serious about winning a comp this decade .
Swings and roundabouts. Why would we assume anything? The Eels played pretty damn good for the best part of that game. I'll sleep OK after that loss.

Sure we played with guts 1 which is great and all - but that’s the bare minimum. I expect guts from the local under 14s team. For a professional team more is required. Even if we managed to win that game by 1 or 2 points, that also isn’t good enough. As others have said I think we lost this season in the off season. Our middles get beat every week, our backs are pretty average and have no depth, our goal kicking is bad, all 3 recruits for this year have been underwhelming. If we were a serious team we should easily beat that tigers team at home. Last year there was a clean out and we came good at the end of the season. Had an offseason… but we have gone backwards this year and our season was done after round 1 when it was very apparent we were absolutely undercooked and not even close to the top teams. Just need to watch nsw cup today and see we are pretty messed up as an organisation. There were some bright prospects in the young grades but will they become nrl quality? Will they even be kept by the eels? It’s all quite disheartening.

They didn’t, the best player being a rookie on the park for 90 seconds scoring 2 tries to even give us a look in, Moses can’t kick, Williams can’t catch and Walker was 5 meters off side, just off the top of my head

I can only think of Gutherson and he would be making things worse. Who else are you talking about?
