The club has lost to many juniors over the years. Experienced players worked last year. We have invested in youth by keeping the young lads in the forwards.

Get Fuller for the year but my preference is Bula. I think it is May when he becomes available. Pay him what's needed.

Three pieces of the spine is sorted. Atko, Bula and Lid's. Nothing can be done with the seven. Just have to continue to manage Reed for next year. The years shot so, keep him on the bench and give him as much game time as possible.

ie we need a stop gap now for 2026 but that might be the long term player we are chasing

If you can't identify something or someone that would have a player WANTING to come to your club then you've found the real issue that needs the urgent attention.. Playing for the legendary 11 straight dragons used to be enough but that ship has sailed...the young players don't identify at all with the past and mercenaries don't consistently give their all.

Players don't want to play for Flanno he picks his favourites and that's it. He tries to play hardball in negotiations but then is happy to throw massive overs at a front rower for 5 years. Keaon is still putting up great numbers because he has 20+ runs a game, Souths are squeezing the lemon dry. He already said in the post game last week that he is playing through a knee injury and it's only a couple rounds into the season, that's not something you want to here 9 months before he begins his 5 year deal. The body can only take so much and right now Souths are going to break him and send us a battered player. 3 year deal would have been perfect. We will struggle to sign any quality player the way our club is being run right now because if we lose against Manly Flanno is gone and once again our future is clouded to potential recruits. Shane will always be the worst coach we have ever had he has set us back years the stubborn bastard

He had huge wraps whilst at Penrith from Gus, then he stabbed him at the Dogs. Baz is not as bad as what he is made out to be. He would be a good assistant.

I saw him and his family at the Easter show yesterday and he looked fine with no sign of a bad knee.

He went down early in Souths last game but played on with a fully strapped knee and in the post match he said himself that he is dealing with an ongoing knee problem. Nothing to stop him walking obviously but as the season goes on it can get worse and worse and hopefully no ACL comes from the weakened ligament. Even with 1 leg he would still be the best prop in our club it's just not ideal this early in the year

Good, our attack has looked worse then last year. Shane, Dean and Ennis should all be moved on and we start completely fresh next season. I would love for Hornby to come back he was one of our assistants in 2018 when we had a good crack in the finals.

Undoubtedly both players - Atkinson and Gutho deserved better , Atkinson is and always will be a five/eighth , and has been playing out of position since arriving at the Dragons. Gutherson in his initial season with the Big Red V gave his all and was all class and more often than not lifted the spirits of the team when required .

Yes he is just about out of puff now although he at least tries which is far better than some of his younger teammates. But back to the point Flanagan would be stupid indeed if he is actually thinking about moving Gutho to the wing .The man simply does not possess the speed required, but here’s a thought - to the centres and have actually speedsters running of him when he make a break .
