We won’t be able to retain him, he will be allowed to leave in order to accommodate the next quality kids coming thru. Yeo is not leaving the Panthers. He will finish his illustrious career as a one club man.

Of the players we have off contract Liam Martin is the player who you would benefit from most. He’s a winner, just would offer something you don’t have. Given our salary cap woes, I think you could get him a year early is the deal was good enough. We clearly are going to have to shed players yet again it’s just the way it is, but while I would love to keep him, we just cant. Martin, Tago, Kenny and a few others will be playing elsewhere in 2027 if not sooner. Sadly.

Perhaps we could consider a real issue is the lack of actual depth in the roster. When clubs in the past have injury related outs, they seem to have the ability to cover them, not so much our club under current admin, still spending the cap though.

Well, that is a reflection of the ability to sign anyone, fingers crossed they are working to secure some high level recruits. Surely their future at the club relies on that occurring.

Hindy has promoted Jesse McLean and rightly so. He is year older than his brother Casey and was equally touted as a potential superstar coming thru the juniors. Sadly, he sustained two really serious injuries which cost him he lost confidence and his form suffered. This season in Cup he is back to his best, averaging 200 running metres, just a huge workhorse but offers more than just a battering ram. Whoever picks him up is going to get a very good NRL quality winger,

Seriously, you acquired Jack De Belin for this season. Whomever was responsible for your recruitment of him should be sacked for that decision alone. That is sad.

Yeo great player that he is, is not going to get better, so spending silly money on an ageing superstar is not good business. You have to smart, there are good players out there as long as your recruitment team is smart. I have no idea who is in charge of your recruitment but I think you fans deserve better. I don’t think it has been that great.
