Accor Stadium and Canterbury posted this on Instagram this afternoon - seems like last year’s 23,597 Thursday night crowd between Canterbury and Penrith is in play tonight:

Wouldn't be like Good Friday but i wonder whether they could get a few extra walk ins from the Easter Show tonight.

with these weekend game going to be another sellout storm are still looking at taking this game or Anzac Day To Etihad or mcg (prefer mcg)

edit now sold out

It will be interesting to see what the NRL does with the double header in Perth as the Bears come in next year and Souths will play all home games in Sydney with one at Gosford (If Belmore's still under renovation, maybe the Bulldogs can take Souths spot). I bet they'll try to move the double header to Melbourne, likely the MCG. I wouldn't rule out Geelong as a choice either

Origin is in Perth next year and fair chance Bears’ first game will be at Optus so I doubt we’ll see a double header as well but depends what agreements are in place. Part of the Bears deal was $ being put towards RL ‘events’ in Perth from memory.

Adelaide Oval double header would be good if the SA Government is interested.

It pains me to say but a good amount of Riff supporters compared to normal.

I think they've learnt to travel from Western NSW in slightly larger numbers since moving to commbank.

Storm will never have access to the MCG on Anzac Day for obvious reasons. But a few 45k blockbusters at Marvel would be good to see.

Storm play it at night though ?
But yeh maybe they couldn’t turn around the stadium fast enough

I would think the line markings would make that impossible, particularly at night.
It's not just the line markings, the Anzac Day AFL game is second only to the Grand Final in terms of catering, corporate events, security etc. You have a crowd of 90k+ leaving the stadium at 5.45pm, there are post match functions, players are in the rooms until 7-7.30pm, there is no logistical way to turn the stadium around for an 8pm game especially a different sport.
