I'm sure the actual Storm fans wouldn't appreciate moving from a stadium with great seats to one where you need binoculars.
Have you actually been to Marvel? Any seat on Levels 1 or 2 provides an excellent view. Level 3 is fine if you're in the first 10 or so rows.

No oval stadium provides an 'excellent' view of rectangular sports so once again you're showing everyone here that you're a troll
I have attended multiple Storm games, finals, State of Origin, A League, soccer internationals at the stadium and never had any visibility issues so maybe that's a you problem...

Look I fully agree AAMI Park is better in terms of viewing but if the NRL wants to grow its crowds they need to explore using Marvel. The State of Origin game held there when Billy Slater was starring for Queensland had an incredible atmosphere beyond anything AAMI Park could provide.

What teams would you need to have consistently in the top 8 to maximise crowd attendance?

I would have instinctually said those big Sydney clubs playing at Accor and Allianz plus the Broncos.
Yes, obviously the clubs with the best combination of big active/potential fan base and big capacity home ground. Broncos, Bulldogs, Bunnies and Dolphins are the clubs that have the best prospect of multiple 40k+ crowds in a season. Roosters are the only other club that can aim at multiple 30k+ crowds, with Tigers picking Commbank over Accor. Then take your pick from the clubs that could average 25k or so, Eels, Knights, Warriors, Storm.

Which boils down to the 7 clubs that averaged over 20k last year + Eels & Bunnies.

I even hate how most of the real NRL (Newcastle Rugby League) teams play on ovals. Maitland, Wests, Lakes, Souths.
Only Cessnock and Kurri have good little rectangular venues.
We need to get away from the culture of ovals. That is how we maximise crowds.

This might be true in NSW but not in Victoria. I guess it depends whether the NRL/Storm are content with a 28k cap or want to play games in front of 40k+ crowds...

That’s the best thing about being in the real country you get dedicated rugby/league parks

As a Storm member I'd love the club to play its 3 biggest home games at Marvel Stadium which would enable crowds of up to 50k to become a possibility. However, the club doesn't want to give up its home field of AAMI Park which is understandable.
Of course you would love the storm to pay the afl to use marvel stadium...
Ovals are shite for Nrl, you may get 5 to 10k extra but it will be such a bad experience they won't return.
Storm are now having multiple sellouts a year, it would be better to focus on achieving more and possibly the whole season then trying to push for upgrades.

It's interesting to watch the spattering of new tickets become available for the Broncos game, presumably as members give up their seats.

Kinda makes it impossible to have an old school no tickets left sellout.
