I agree with a lot of what you've said but 2027 won't help us. There is a lot of fundamental things wrong with the Parra game. Fitness, direction, discipline, talent, ability, game management and mongrel just to name a few. We are always on the back foot from the opening whistle. From there we are just steam rolled out of games through mistakes, dumb plays and shit defence. I don't take injuries into the equation because all clubs have injuries to their rosters. We would lose to the Dragons if we played them next week, imo.
Next year? A whole lot has to start happening right now for us to be even considered a top eight prospect. The players are so damaged now that they expect to lose, and Moses isn't going to lead us out of the wilderness.

Mate our team makes a GF, loses, and then the team is systematically torn apart and gets worse until randomly we have decent side who lose another GF. Happened in 2001, 2009 and 2022. Look at the Broncos, sure they’re off the rails again but 2023 for a loss into 2025 for the win was a short turn around. I’m confident I’ll be in my grave before this sack of shit team wins anything.

I sadly feel the same, even though I was around in 1986 but too young to remember the Grand Final. Ive supported this club for so many years and just when you think there is a glimour of hope to get this team right, it goes backwards again. Is there some kind of mentality at Parramatta where they cant seem to maintain from where they left off? Last year was looking promising, but it looks much worse, in fact someone said its the worst defensive period to start a season. Take away the injuries, some of the effort of the fit players are so terrible. There's no talk, no effort. I honestly dont know when they will have another win this year.
