Dean young will NOT take us to a final! NO rookie coach will.
Our older heads are letting us down and our juniors probably still another year or so away.

27 will scrape into 8th
28 top 6

I don’t think there’s a spot for gutho next year , worthless in centre or wing.
it all comes down to our halves, need Reed to have a huge year then 27 start as our 7.

Commentators yesterday were saying Sami is 3 year deal. Though still nothing from the club?

I was playing reps 5/8 in league but my school was rugby only at the time. Was sort of forced to play but eventually refused because all I was told to do was kick the ball. Not run or pass.
I've got a weird one.
Big fat kid played for Moss Vale Dragons at 7 yrs old, etc. Finished up U/18s Cooma & Woden Valley. Open side prop for the entire time - should be a record ? I did keep playing waterpolo as uni made more RL impossible.
By the time I was 16, I was tall, rangy (wanted to be a cross between Rocket & Changa) but went to a rugby school where Alan Jones worked and was coach of the 16As - sort of 1st 15 in waiting. Alan made everyone wear white ankle-high socks as well as regulation socks ....
So, on holidays at Cooma I'd play U/16s league & rugby on the Saturday, and U/18s league on Sunday. Ran riot in the 16s, got smashed in the 18s.
School terms I'm playing 2nd row - line outside, scrums, rucking......
All i wanted to do was run with the ball. So I says to Allan (16As socks & all), I want to play inside centre.
Ooohoo no!
Could not be done. I think the inside centre was a smaller, blonde, comely lad.
I just wanted to get that ball and run at kids. Well, actually past them and beyond.
No dice, so I said OK, I'll play soccer.
Now whilst this was somewhat akin to my advocation for 'school colours' for the 1st 5 chess team, it did not go down well with AJ.
I was in AJ's English class and after confirming I 'had ceased rugby', he did not speak with me for 3 months.
Perchance i did leave the school for normal high school (and gurls) but the bastard left, maybe a month later, so I hope none of my soccer mates wondered about the timing ...

Lets hope Ando is hot on the heels for a back up 7 for Kade Reed
Tannah Boyd or Jock Madden are both in form and well worth an inquiry
Madden has a year to run at Tigers but would likely be let go with Luai and Douehi locks for both spots
Boyd is only signed for this year and Metcalfe is the preferred choice with the Wahs
Tough decisions to be made with Cook n Gutho and or KF
Liddle has got to start
Kyle was initially bought as a back up 9
the idea of Cook playing centre is plain dumb
Gutho all keen for Drinky to come....great...where does that leave a 900k buy ??
Utility to bob up anywhere or early retirement
interesting times to come

I read somewhere on Facebook, unfortunately not sure where that the powerbrokers at Saints are either pushing or looking at Shane Richardson to come in now that he has been cleared of any wrong doings. If so, that would be what Saints desperately need. He will clean the joint of rubbish in management/board level like he did at the Tigers. If Saints want to keep Flanno, then Shane is his only hope as he turned things around with Benji and I believe can do the same for Flanno.

Sua going and Leilua off contract.
I know we have some back rowers but if we lose our 2 starters and promote others, we are only an injury or 2 away from having no depth
look at last year, we had to play Mariner and Murdoch Masila.

We'll still have Nick T, both Couchmans and Stewart can also play edge forward if we're really stretched. CST into top 30 next year if I remember correctly, he could probably handle a couple of games if needed, and I do quite like Jarrah Treweek even though he's not spoken about as much. We're pretty well covered in that spot, freeing up cap space and spending it in the spine, one more prop in addition to KK and on a couple outside backs is where we should be looking

I'm obviously more of a supporter than you, Mr Parramatta fan. I've been around far longer than you have.

By the way, you agree with a poster who wants Reed to leave, and wanted KK to change his mind. That's the so-called true fans group you are a part of. You actively want the club to fail, because saying "I told you so" is more important to you than the club being successful.

Oh by the way, before you suggest I'm a Flanagan fan, this was me the day he was signed. Seems I'm a far more astute judge than you
Holy heckers @I'm Hornby m hornby this maximus bloke is like nostradamus

Thats a great yarn. I dont mind AJ but bloody hell having met him a few times he sure is fruity and strikes me as the type who would hold a grudge. Cant fault his work with Wallabies tho
