This is going to be a tough game. The Brisbane pack is still quality, Reynolds and Mam in the halves and some speed and skill out wide.

We really need to win this game though. Our team looks awesome. Assuming that is what we run with Madden is unlucky. If To'a is in reserves he is on the outer.

Just finished a big job and I guess yea you had to expect this from a novice coach.. happy to accept my mistake if I’m proven wrong but this is 2 6’s playing without a 1/2 .. at keast Benjis covered his arse and he will need to …Maddens come back from a deficit every game he’s played except against knights including the trial he played after ad came off..so it’s a safe bet without ruffling feathers

Yeah agree, that Broncos team still looks quite strong and we are still relatively inexperienced, after our run, can we keep our heads in the game, uncharted territory for many of them so any type of win will be huge.

At least I got the two centres correct. They’re going to be dynamite! You can’t leave the highlight real Herbert out not against the Broncos ..Masi on the wing finally. Less complicated there. I’ll forgive Benji with those back picks.

I think Toa might of gotten injured again and reserves have a bye this week

Interesting. I still think To'a is less favored than May considering May comes straight back into the team and To'a played reserves last week.

Skelton also not picked. Tavana is out as well.

It's hard to know for sure though because there is no reserves game.

We have some depth though.

May is streets ahead of Toa.I just hope he stays out of trouble off the field coz he’s a gun & imo our best outside back although suddenly we have excellent competition for spots in the 3/4’s

It'll be interesting seeing who performs. I had no idea that Herbert was going to play well. It's another week though and every game is tough.

We haven't started like this in years. Can we keep it up ? The team is playing exceptionally well.

Versatile Herbert 🫰I think he earnt the right to stay in the top grade. As with Luai, Benji resisted the temptation to play him last week, same goes with To'a I guess. To'a has to earn his stripes again but having just resigned him, Benji's pet will be back. He's been in grade for a while now but keeps getting injured. He led DallyM centres early rds last year and was super impressive.
I think Tino has a hamstring issue. It was either Skelton or Masi I guess.
We would've stuggled without these options in previous years.

The players not playing are better than what we've had in the past. There is a lot of pressure on Luai and even AD for this game.
Agree. I think players have to own their position. Like Herbert. How could Benji drop him.
But things change in a heartbeat like Tavana's hammy. It's possible that he might not play for a long time because others won't let go without a fight.
Luai wanted to play last week but no.
This is a coaches dream to have players competing for spots.

Reynolds will have a question mark on his fitness, coming back (at his age) from a groin issue, will not be easy for him.

Vic mentioned this, but we are favourites for this game.

When was the last time we've been favourites against a reigning premiership side.

That said, I think we have them at a bad time, so hopefully we can capitalise on it, also at home is another great plus, last weeks crowd was pretty impressive.

The pennies coming off a loss and playing in Darwin against the dolphins, is not a given.

If the footy gods are kind to us, we could be leading the comp at the end of the weekend?
