The decline is basically that the signings made during their tenure were all basically reserve graders , and we were losing NRL players.

Obviously some will improve, but if you go back and look at who have been lost against who these “experts” signed, it’s pretty damning, and we have arrived where we sit due to those actions.

Lomax, Addo Carr and Walker the outliers and available due to circumstances and not really In a competitive situation as most elite level players have been.

I wouldn’t say it’s on MON to fix it. It’s on his replacement to fix.
It seems the more things change… I think this is well and truly line in sand for Jim because this feels like refusal to change something in case it negatively impacts his power base. That’s Spags, Fitzy et al over again.

Hopefully none. And why do you think that is the case? Because this strategy failed. This was reported even by our own club. Now his job is to recruit players that are not off cuts from other clubs which every single signing has been, even the good ones like JAC and more recently Su’A. When was the last time he won a bidding war with another club? He lost out on Galvin and Keaon. These are the ones we know about. I know he also lost out on Farnworth.
