Generally, if I'm just up for a brief troll, I go into the theory of evolution and ask how they feel about the history books that disagree with their book.

I had Catholicism forced on me at school, so I know the Bible, and I find it funny how little some of the JWs know about it.

I'm not saying religions are bad; on the contrary, if they make you a better person, then they are a good thing. I don't believe they should be forced on you until you reach the age of reason and are capable of making up your own mind about which religion you choose to follow or believe in.

My recently departed Aunty was a JW and had been since the mid '80s. I was very close to her 2 non JW kids and her also. Her son is a druggie who has spent time in Gaol for violence and her daughter had some issues as well that she has since corrected.
She did eventually after many years of abuse, disown the son. Only in the last 5 yrs though and it was a person choice and not church directed.
She never disowned her daughter despite being at constant odds with her since childhood.
