An I right about that too ?
But It’s only my opinion athe end of the day ..not sure you need to get too concerned about ir
No you're not right. The biggest Rugby comp in the World is working on a partnership with another league on another hemisphere. They're trying to get it done fast, like a matter of weeks to months.

After days, you're expecting to have something tangible and anything short of that you're calling " wheel spinning"

Every meeting is progress, just getting over the jet lag is progress at this point.

The only wheel spinning is coming from you.

Also. I still don't really know what you're opinion is..!

Seems like you just want to shit on it for no apparent reason

I am entitled to post my opinion here ..,

You must know what it is because you say that it’s wrong
Seems like you just want to shit on it for no apparent reason

I literally posted my reasons …you seem offended by the discussion though

And by Abdo ‘s own statements … still a lot of ground to go
And As I clearly stated ..: they have been discussing this for a year now …

Obviously nrl is going to changes that maximise the benefits to itself which is they want full control

pvl and the arl aren’t a charity and the English clubs have to realise this

Even if they play in summer games are on the middle of the night

games would have to be on 11 am there time to get them on decent times for Aussies to watch and I can’t see many watching during our summer

as I said they just need a game a week on super Saturday starting at 10 pm that would be worth something to Fox

Playing Super League in winter just so it can air in the Australian summer is pointless. Next to nobody is going to watch it during cricket and tennis season. It's okay to have a break from rugby league for a few months.

Seems to me that a Saturday/Sunday 12:30pm UK game is perfect for a Saturday/Sunday night 9:30pmEST/7:30pmWA Australian broadcast.

If you can bundle that into the NRL broadcast deal, you've basically added 2 extra games per week on top of the existing 8 or 9 NRL. That to me makes more sense.

Geez there's some incredibly shit takes around this topic.
Those still fear mongering about a return to winter just need to shut the f**k up, in no way has that been tabled nor does it represent any opportunity or benefits to anyone whatsoever.
It's really dumb or deliberately misleading to present that as a genuine possibility.

Some of you need to go to the most recent interview with Abdo and actually watch and listen before commenting further.

I'm so f**king sick of hearing about soccer and how hard it is because of it.
What's the solution then? Give up ??
Gravity's a bitch too but we just gotta do what we can.

Soccer is a completely different thing to RL, there's no parallels, it's non contact, different ball.. you don't even use your f**king hands.

Am I to believe the entire nation of England fears contact, the use of hands and a ball that isn't a perfect sphere?

There's a massive demand for contact sport globally, the NFL sell out in the UK, Union sells out internationals in the UK..
Rugby league needs to lift the salary cap, even it out- tighter contest with better athletes, incorporate more relevant city's, add some prestige and big events.
Then we'll pull over the Union support like we have in Australia and NZ and maybe we won't pull people away from Premier League but here's the crazy part.. people don't need to.. watch Manchester U on Friday night - nobody says they have to give it up but that doesn't mean we can't get them interested in watching Wigan on Sunday afternoon..

All these poms that are supposedly only able to watch Premier League.. also watch Cricket, Boxing and f**king darts..
So don't give me this bullshit.

We make a good product and we'll get supporters.

The sooner these negative creeps and removed from decision making roles the better.

Have very low expectations

ie super league being on par with division 3 or 4 of soccer

The biggest sport in the world in its biggest market

pommies absolutely love soccer even in places where league claims as its own

Leeds Bradford hudds etc

There is no doubt that the Soccer is a giant over there .. but I think that gives the Super League administration an excuse to downplay there own failures … if the Storm in the space of 30 years can start from nothing and carve a respectable niche in the worlds most cultist brainwashed sports market then RL can do so in Northern England …

Having said that … I’m not confident that anything meaningful gets done here …The NRL won’t pay the money the Pommies expect at the end of the day IMO
