Petrol prices down below $2.00 per litre across the board. Cheapest place near me had it for $1.79/L this morning!

I suspect we’ll see more tax on higher wealth to offset less tax (or at least less tax admin) on lower wealth.
I suspect we’ll see cuts to spending but increases to longer term funding.
And we’ll probably see an increase in defence budget because it seems we have to.

If only our transport , farming and half the population’s private transport ran on ethanol and not diesel you may almost have a soap box to stand on . Till then we are still locked at $3+ a litre until anyone cares .
