I don't get the hate towards Young, I thought he was a breath of fresh air in the post game pressers last year, he only had 6 games from players he inherited. I know he has been part of the staff, However, we all know every one would do things different if they had complete say in the team. He did bring in some younger players & he spoke well while not sugar coating anything.
If he has the support of the players, that is all that matters, & if he replaces some of the logs in that side & bloods Reed, (so he can hit the ground running for the start of next year), then I'll be happy.

I think the issue is another old boy and also part of Flanno's setup...

Loved Dean as a player, but personally I think we need an experienced coach ala Bennett/Bellamy etc to clean up the mess...

Anyway, lets see what eventuates.

Just frustrating mate Flanagan has stated a number of times that the coaching staff who includes Young agree that Kyle is the best # 7 at the club at the moment so someone is lying. Also Young has been the defensive coach this year….. how has he gone ? He has been tried before and ….

The board again showed no leadership after sacking the coach .
Now they put in his right hand man that was with him and is also to blame for the teams shit performance in 3 years . Dean Young with what credentials does he have to deserve to coach in the Nrl.

Whomever gets the full time gig is going to need a fairly big support team around him. Perhaps they need to replace Haran’s role first, then work backwards from there. Shane Richardson, Nathan Brown, even someone like Brian Smith.
