Are Newcastle the 2008 version of the 2005 Tigers?

I'm starting to think they might be

They have several wise heads in the team, supporters by a great set of up and coming players. Brian Smith has done wonders for this team. Although we don't all love him you have to give him credit, he has turned some of these guys into future rep players

Cheers,
Moffo

Boo hoo - we (Titans) were the flavour of the week last week and holders of the 2005 Tigers tag :(

Brian Smith is a very good regular season coach so I would say the Knights should make 8 and could possibly even make the top 4. I just can't see them troubling a side like melbourne or brisbane in the finals though.

The only way the knights will finish hgher then 13th, if they have hometown Badger who was the man of the match as ref for all thier home games, then the knights may finish anywhere from 10th -13th

Smith has done wonders with them.
Compare what smith has to work with with what tom shines has to work with in terms of quality and you will all realise what a sh*t job shines has done and continues to do

WTF does "cop" have to do with this?

I know exactly what you meant. Problem is, YOUR club got the raw deal with coaching, not Newcastle.
Why would it worry you if we got "the raw deal".
I'd be more worried if we had an untried nuffy like Kevin Moore for next year.
