I remember reading a while back that a young Brad Fittler was close to joining the Eels but management didn't want to pay overs for an untested player.
I'm hoping history isn't repeating itself. Maybe Williams really is overrated and not worth that much money. Well what would you suggest? No offence, but the club pretty much ignores its fans at the best of times...not to mention they have today to keep Williams and that's it...

well, my info is that the money we offered to Ennis was laughable compared to the Dogs, and we were his club of choice, i know that for a fact...but in saying that it's a matter of choice and Hages is the one to make the call on Williams and he obviously doesn't rate him as much as Manly does and that's just the way it is.
