Well, the initiative was actually started by the Knights a while ago when we started "Kids Free Day". You're all copying us

Actually as far back as I can remember kids under 16 used to get in free to Easts games up until the start of 2004.....

So we are, in fact, just copying ourselves

Eastern suburbs is supposed to be such a rich area but they need to give away free tickets to get a crowd around 20k LOL

Yeah, where is the Telegraph on this calling it discriminatory - why don't I get a free ticket if the kids get free tickets? Its not fair...

who gives at rats ass who did it first, its great to see some efforts to increase crowds and good luck to all clubs who try this.

Even positive things produce whinging in league, no wonder the media has a field day with negative stories....

not everyone who follows the roosters lives in the area. its not like people from Vaucluse and Point Piper are going to league games.

didnt u lot just get 12k after letting all islanders in free? pathetic.
also, discriminating between children and adults is perfectly legal.

I find it laughable how people can criticise the Roosters for trying to get more people to the game. I'm sure the players prefer to play in front of bigger crowds whether they have paid or not.

Well done Roosters. I'm coming up from Melbourne for the game so hopefully it's a beautiful sunny sunday afternoon.
