Why was Brett Stewarts try disallowed (besides a dodgy vid ref call).....if we reverse that decision anjd let the Storm score that try, does it go to the vid ref?????
Simple.....NO! Win, lose or draw tonight, yet again the Storm get the rub of the green!

For some insane reason, its illegal to push someone over who would probably be able to get the ball. I know, crazy eh!

I love Manly. I agree the Storm get everything there way. The amount of forward passes and stupid little dicisions that go their way is unbelievable. The NRL want Melbourne to be successful at all costs and it really sucks that the Storm are handed all the doubtful decisions. manly have been a better team tonight. BTW the first try was really a try. Go Manly!!!!

He clearly pushed him in the back and by the letter of the law it's a penalty, hardly giving the game on a platter to Manly. I've got no issue with the call going on past incidents and laws of the game but it is something the NRL needs to start looking at. Teams are clearly using the tactic of sticking players around fullbacks with no intention of taking the ball purely for aerial protection. If they're going to do that then chasers need to be given more leeway to be able to get through.

i think manly will take plenty out of this game.

orford's crappy 6th tackle options have probably cost them the game.

i think tonight they will have learnt what's required to roll the storm next time they meet.

So f**king happy Storm won that.

Wah wah Storm get treated better wah wah wah

I agree though. It was harsh. Unfortunately, you can't take players out. That's the rule. If it had gone the other way, the rule would have been bended to give a try.

It was a joke of a call that no try. If a defender is going to play a block and make no effort to play at the ball, it shouldn't be a penalty if someone runs into them knocking them out of the way.

Almost seemed to me that Manly didn't want to reveal too much tonight. They played hard, but they seemed to have left their play book at home, maybe on purpose.

If it was a no try. It should have been a Manly penalty for Quinn changing direction just to block Stewart. NRL not NFL Quinny.

Exactly. On the replay, Stewart only ever had his eyes on the ball. If a player wants to put himself in the way, someone running for the ball should have every right to run into them, as long as it doesn't interfere with the players taking the ball (which tonight, it didn't).
