Uh no...Are you insane? Apart from soccer handball will be the most popular team sport at the Games.
Get an educated opinion.

Uh no...
Uh Yes
Nope.
Ask anyone outside of Scandinavia how much they watch handball.
And you've contradicted yourself(as you have constantly in this thread).
Seriously your point is moot, you argue for the sake of arguing whilst looking like a fool.
I'm sure you think you're right, but I'd say that infrastructure is the reason why these sports were taking out of the equation.
Think what you want Shorty, but the IOC hasn't made it a secret. The US Softball captain has also made it quite clear.

Basketball?
You are a f**king idiot.
You're the idiot.
Basketball is bigger in the US/Canada/Australia. But we're talking about the 205+ countries competing in the Olympics, not Australia.
:lol: Surely you're taking the piss. You seriously can't be that deluded that you think handball is more popular worldwide then basketball. Get off the crack.
It is without a doubt
Are you insane? Apart from soccer handball will be the most popular team sport at the Games.
And table tennis is a hell of a lot more popular worldwide than a lot of other sports in the games like softball and cycling.
We're not talking about what's popular in Australia, but what's popular in 205 countries in the world.
Even we got a lot of coverage of handball and table tennis in Australia. Go to Japan - no coverage of the cycling at all. No coverage of swimming at all except the mens breaststroke events and the 4x100m mens medley relay.
You're the idiot.

Utter garbage. Its massive in Europe. More and more of the world class players are now going to European leagues instead of America. A lot of decent South American teams.
Handball is played in Europe. And Europe only. Theres a reason why its called "European handball".
Heres a list of medal winners at the Oympics, and the World Handball Championship.

The only team outside of Europe to win a medal is South Korea (and China has a solitary Bronze).
I re-iterate: You are a f**king idiot.
More countries play handball than basketball. Just admit it.
And look at the location of some of those countries in the Basketball: USA, Uruguay, Yugoslavia, Italy etc. Played all over the world. Yes, Europe has more countries...so what? Its like saying table tennis is one of the most popular sports in the world, because China has 1 billion people who are crazy for it.
Bull.
The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has 213 national federations as members. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIBA)
The International Handball Federation has 159 members. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Handball_Federation)
Looks like you're making **** up again.
When people say popularity they mean the popularity of the sport and not member countries which means nothing at all and includes countries who organisation is nothing more than a couple of mates at the pub. 121 countries "play" Rugby Union but anyone who actually thinks that's the case is an idiot. The RLIF has 63 members that "play" Rugby League, but again that is not the case. In Rugby League good old Kazakhstan is ranked 41st in the world. So imagine how bad the 22 countries ranked lower than them are. Even Norway at 38th is ranked higher than them. Basketball and handball are exactly the same
The number of countries that are members is the biggest load of bullsh*t ever. Anyone that uses member countries only does so when they have clearly lost, as to any normal person the popularity of a sport is exactly that.
It's like arguing with a child. You're the one that said more countries play handball than basketball. Of course member nations play the sport in their country (no matter how **** they are). If nobody played the sport, they wouldn't bother setting up the organisation in the first place.
And if you don't want to use member nations, how else are you supposed to work out that handball is played in more countries then basketball. You're the one who made the statement in the first place. How about trying to back it up with some facts, rather then spurting **** and forcing everyone to believe it.
Oh and BTW according to wiki the RLIF has 45 members. Unless you have a source to prove otherwise, i'll just assume that's another Razor lie.
