Good win by the Roosters. For us, the loss of Florence before the match was definitely not good, and Creagh's loss at the beginning, we felt it. Hope both will be okay next week. That and we need Soward in our team.

pretty sh*t, i think the rain helped the roosters into the match because we couldnt play a wide running game.

We were starting to win the foward battle in the first half, but our halves were quite poor, Rogers was particularly sh*t. Once we lost Creagh the Roosters started to get the better of our pack. What made it worse was that we simply didn't have the right game plan for the conditions. Soward will be back next week regardless of the conditions.

We will more than likely play Manly at Brooky as I believe that

• The Storm will beat Souths by more than 8 more than Manly will beat Penrith
• Canberra will beat the Dogs by more than 15
• We'll finish 7th and Manly 2nd

We lost tonight for several reasons IMO

• Both Benny Hornby and Rogers were off in their kicking games
• The latter needed more time than he was given and flubbed everything Sowie on the bench could have remedied this problem
• Sa's cheap shot on Creagh which will probably go unpunished but is grade 3 reckless IMO
• Nighty was missing which meant Gaz didn't get the ball in space. BMoz was okay but has no creativity

The rorter prick that is having fun forgets that Mason is GOOONE, O'Mealey will get a grade 1 or 2 careless and miss at least one; so may Sa so when they come up against the Ponies next week, they'll get their butts kicked.
If we beat Manly, the Raiders beat the Sharks and the ponies stamped all over the rorters, his flock of gooses are cooked for '08

The worst case scenario is if if the Panthers don't turn up tomorrow and Manly blitz them. This will leave us in 7th and us playing the Storm at the graveyard.

Hopefully we'll get a better ref than Shane Hayne but we'll need a lot of luck to get through that one
Luckily the Storm get a heads-up, playing on Sunday and are greedy enough to want the 100k for the minor premiership and kick the Assotasi less Bunnies arses

The Sa/Creagh collision was just a shame that Creagh had to go off the field... Sa just thought he was gonna get the ball there wasn't too much in it, the ball carrier and Creagh were nearly touching each other.. big overreaction IMO.

I reckon that first half was some of the best defence i've seen in donkey's. It reminded me of the Dogs vs Parra clashes in the 80's ... brutal stuff and i loved watching it

Thanks for the great game. I wish they'd improve the footballs tho. Surely there has to be a footy surface that is easy to handle in the wet by now. The drop ball constantly ruined such a tight game imo.

Btw to Gaba and Dolly and Leaguelover and Dragondad and Dageniuso2 (Dasuperhero2) ... suck sh*t and die.

Whiel I think Sa only had the best intentions, I'd say losing a player & an interchange from an illegal tackle is a pretty big deal, especially in the context of the game.
