Michael Voss nightclub king-hit v Lockyer alleged "semi-tackle"

After seeing Lockyer's alleged "crash tackle" footage it would be interesting to see a replay of that infamous Michael Voss or is it Vass? king-hit outside a nightclub.

The reporting of both incidents appears to be rather different despite one being far worse than the other.

Anyone got footage of the Vass incident? They liked the Chaminda Vass footage so much, they made him coach of the team.

Voss king hit a guy (when the other guy couldn't see it coming, Voss is a coward and a thug) outside a nightclub. Initially he said he didn't do it until security footage was found proving he did. He kept his job as a newsreader and the footage got very little coverage in the media, certainly nothing like what's going on now with Lockyer. It's a f**king disgrace, I hope Bruno says something about it at the next news conference.

Might have something to do when they win a game. The Broncos win full-page on the back page of the paper. The Firebirds win, a small story mid-paper.

So the paper is treating both exactly the same.

Heres the tip, if Banaldo or whatever from the Roar got into a fight it would be covered about the same as Voss.

sh*tLOADS more people care about League, so League incidents get proportionally more coverage.

Vass captianed 3 straight premierships and is now coach. He was also a Brisbane sports news reader at the time (not many get that gig while they are still playing). The media lick his bottom up in Brisbane.

Vass king hits someone and the footage is forgotten about in a day, while Lockyer does bugger all if anything (alleged!) and he's painted as this criminal thug.

Obviously Roy Masters gets on your nerve you AFL twat. :lol:

Lockyer's efforts get more attention due to the circumstances that the Broncos players have put themselves in at the moment. anything negative they do at the moment will be publicised, and they only have themselves to blame for it. they have stupidly put the spotlight firmly upon themselves during the finals series and can suffer the consequences because of it.

the fact that Lockyer's incident was 2 weeks ago but only gets dragged out now is an indication of this.
