There is something about being beaten 40-0 that just takes the emotion out of it...I think thats an upside..!!........

:( feel sorry for Matty and Mick!!

So which ones of you are going to tomorrow's grand final day? Or will you just be too upset to go? I think it would be a nice touch and gesture to go tomorrow.

And before you all go ape, yes I'm no big fan of the Storm, and I know I did a few dishing out stuff about them here at LU, but I'm still a league fan regardless and getting involved in these things are always importnat.

Commiserations Melbourne. Manly dominated and never gave us a look in last week. Looked like they carried that on tonight.

It's no consolation, but there's 14 other clubs that would have loved to have been in your position tonight but were'nt good enough. The Storm were a quality side before this game, their still a quality side 1 loss later.

it's a hard loss to swallow but thats sport i guess!
we were under the pump with a tough finals campaign and missing cam and hoff certainly did'nt help.
i knew things were'nt looking good when the dog got car sick this morning and sh*tted everywhere,it was just the vibe!

Lol, Pepe, I would have given up right there! I had a bad feeling after half time, they just came out looking defeated before the first tackle.

I have a sneaking suspicion that after the warriors game, the boys had accepted the fact that they werent going to win this year. Ofcourse that was washed away some by beating Brisbane and Cronulla but it didnt take too much to bring it out. Once manly got a few point on you, sides that tend believe they are going to lose deep down often get worked over like that.

Agreed. They just didn't look right. I can't put my finger on it, but it was like they were zapped of that certain something that had taken them so far previously.

 no team would want to be on the end of the biggest GF loss in the 100 years of league!

Obviously no team would want to be on the end of that scorline, but 14 other clubs would have loved to have been in the position of challenging for the GF.

I drowned my sorrows last night into the early hours and am now paying for it at work.
We were simply outplayed and it hurts so much more to lose to Manly. Would've much prefered to lose to the Warriors.
