I don't like discussing such things in the open forum but sometimes its the only way to get the message across. Survivor isn't banned. Coggie usually does some massive trolling thing about once a year and then disappears. Stsae was given dozen of chances and was far less than jolly behind the scenes. Believe what you want but I suggest you don't believe everything you read.

Someone told me you were banned too rufus, and yet you're posting here. See how rumours take hold?

Re the 'lets be fair' stuff, I can say that a number of Dragons trolls were banned and/or barred from the Easts forum (after a word from the Easts Mods) during that period you mention. The same rules apply to all.

I often get people telling me they have been singled out or they go looking for contradictions. It gets to ridiculous proportions.

I recall a few Easts supporters complaining bitterly about being moderated when they were upset about Souths trolls. They wrongly assumed that they were only ones being moderated. Meanwhile a few Souths supporters were whinging along the same lines. Both sides thought they were being singled out!

I have to admit I had a laugh when one Easts supporter was demanding to be given the same 'fair' treatment as a particular Souths supporter who he thought was getting away with murder. I pointed out that the Souths supporter in question had been suspended a few day's earlier for excessive thread and forum disruptions (excessive trolling). I asked the Easts supporter if he still required similar 'fair' treatment, but he never replied. Regrettably, he never went into bat for Mods that had done a great job during that period.

Who'd be a Mod? Want to have a go rufus? I'd be happy to vouch for you and request a Guest Mod spot for you in the Easts forum.

Since when has using the word "Indigenous" been considered racist, when it's a generic term used to describe people, flora, fauna etc that are unique to various parts of the world?

originating in and characteristic of a particular region or country; native (often fol. by to): the plants indigenous to Canada; the indigenous peoples of southern Africa.

In any case, that's why I put up the offer. I think it would be great if there was little more help in there.

IMO it is a good thing that rufus and yourself are asking the question. It wouldn't be unusual to see either of you appointed as guest mods, and later full mods. Depending on Easts Mods discussion and whether or not you feel you can do the job.
